The ad for Air Physio states: "This All-Natural "Lung Cleaning" Device Helps Me Breathe Easier & Strengthens My Lungs!" Essentially, it's a plastic pipe that you blow into to raise a metal ball. It creates resistance in your lungs and supposedly helps cough up phlegm from the lungs. It sells for around $60. Looking at the pipe and ball bearing, it couldn't have cost more than $2 to manufacture. I have emphysema and have continual build up of phlegm in my lungs, making me cough a lot. My specialist told me to buy a $1 pack of balloons from a dollar store and practice blowing them up. It does the same thing as the $60 for the Air Physio device. What a "crock" from a company in New South Wales to shyster someone out of money. I even read their medical documents from an unknown University written by an unknown scholar. He uses the words "theory" a lot in his medical dissertation. And since it's considered a "supplement" it is not evaluated by our FDA. Ads like this and companies like this that try to take advantage of a suffering and gullible public, really anger me. (The preceding statement is my personal opinion and has no scientific basis.) I do believe that if it looks like a skunk; if it smells like a skunk; if it sprays like a skunk; then it's a skunk. It stinks!
