I never leave reviews, especially negative ones but let me hopefully save someone from getting their money stolen like I did. If you're thinking about using Sezzle, RUN. I tried to place an order through them with Ulta for some products, and the order never went through but they charged me for TWO different orders, each one over $100 and the order with Ulta never went through. I contacted ulta and they confirmed they never received an order. I tried contacting Sezzle customer support twice and was met with the worst customer service, I'd use names if they had given me one. They're continuing to charge me for two different orders that don't exist. This is fraudulent behavior, no business should charge a customer before an order is placed, let alone a duplicate one. Seriously, don't do business with this company, they're scammers.

! BUYERS BEWARE!
Sezzle at anytime will cancel your ability to use their service. Whether you are a customer that pays in advance or a customer that pays on time but never late.

Sezzle Support Team- Do not expect them to be much help, If they aren't condescending to you or rude, than they'll just keep wasting your time and asking you to be patient, even if it's been over 4 weeks.

Sezzle as a service is a great concept, but mix that in with unreliable technical team, disrespectful support team and punishing on time, or advanced paying customers makes this a nightmare company to do business with.

I recommend using KLARNA, or AFFIRM. Sezzle is just a small company with a lot of improvements to be made.

What I love the most about sezzle is that they allow us to pay in installments so I don't have to spend a lot of money at once and still purchase what I wanted to. They also have beautiful clothing for a very affordable price. The quality is also superb! Love this company

First off I have been with Sezzle for awhile and have a good credit line with them - But I will say please don't use them stay away and use Afterpay, Pay by 4, and even Affirm, - I had some issues and asked for hardships as my mother had a stroke that left her partially paralyzed in a wheel chair, not to mention during the pandemic I lost one of my jobs, and I live in Orlando where the rent market sky rocketed so outrageous but with all this being said I asked for help as hardship and I have to admit they did help some, and I requested just (1) more push of my payments because of these issues plus I take care of my mother --- I requested just one more hardship (letter below) and this low life piece of whatever you want to call him his name is Trevor and probably not even from the USA as most of the customer service agents are not to begin with so when you call you get broken English, and those who just read scrips and repeat themselves. But I guess this is what our customer service has come to - But my point is they let Trevor email me and ask me for proof that my mother had a stroke which is illegal as that is HIPPA privacy and does not have to be documented. I was nice and sent a photo of my wheel chair bound mother and he than writes back says it was not sufficient enough to help me- I have requested now (5) times for management to contact me and talk about this problems --- They are allowing this agent Trevor to send these types of emails and request this information - Sezzle is so rude, and awful and I am sending all correspondence to the corporate office and let everyone on all social media platforms know my experience- I owe them 500 dollars and they won't help me - now I am going to be late on my payments and they are going to tack on late charges, and say they are there to help others which is a big lie --- The customer service sucks, now they are charging other fees for different levels to get to better options of stores (ridiculous) - Please work with me and pass this review on and hopefully Trevor either gets more training or even terminated. HE should not be able to out right request such sensitive information and Sezzle not want to talk about this or even care that it's illegal and such information can cause law suits to the company behalf of Trevor which I am looking into many options what can be done. I will attach the letters he wrote to me and how he was rude in condescending way about helping with anyone. And management has not contacted me which is worse so I am sending a letter to corporate and see if anyone there would like to discuss this problems and who they hire to be able to speak and corresponds to customers in this way.

I will be speaking with some my mothers Dr. and some other outlets to see what can be done legally and to see if Trevor will be punished in anyways due to his outrageous requests and correspondence.

I am going to work on trying to pay off my account, my mother is 81, had a stroke that left her partially paralyzed from a stroke, lost her husband, fell off our porch and broke her back which is reconstructed with a metal cage and rods, had a massive heart attack and had a quad bi pass surgery, is in stage 3 kidney disease, and encountered Covid 19 My sister and I take care of her as much as we can to keep her home and for all she has going on and been through she tries to be joyful and keep her spirits high - I ran into some financial problems and asked Sezzle for only 1 more hardship push to let me catch up they did help in the past but this representative was extremely wrong. I see Trevor has no heart, and Sezzle company does not seem to either to allow these reps to do whatever they want and request sensitive info. Talk about a Grinch for the holidays. I hope if he ever encounters problems with anything no matter what it is I do hope he gets more help and more understanding and courtesy than he choose not to give to me -

Sezzle card got declined when go to use it. After they took the 25% of you're purchased. Then they tell you to go redeem the money back froml company. And it's gonna be a gift card. After you pay them cash. I lost thousands of dollars for my work due to vehicle parts never made it out of the factory.i email Sezzle CC AutoZone. And was told to go to AutoZone and redeem the money I lost money and they won't respond to me anymore I will never use Sezzle at all never again and I urge you not to I went to perpay and klarna they pritty good, this Sezzle is a thief you will never be happy ever screw this app I just got screwed 54$ and your power spending is BS they will do you too stay away.
Lowest life business I ever deal with. Go perpay they are great.

I made an order through Target on 4/24. I was preapproved for $200. I tried to make a delivery order for what amounted to $200. It kept getting declined and the representative I spoke with kept telling me to lower my order amount. I lowered it til it was $5 and it still was declined. So, I switched it to shipping and it went through for $197 and some change. I was only charged $48 and change for the upfront payment and about the same will be the other 3 payments. They didn't do a credit check and there's no extra fees added. I will definitely be using this service again.

Tip for consumers:
Sezzle doesn't work with delivery orders through Target. Target goes through Shipt for their deliveries. So, either choose shipping or pick up or shop in store with the virtual card in the Google Pay wallet. Target not only has coupons you can add online but Google Pay will give you discounts too.
