FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!
Online they have a US address in Texas, however... the company/sham business is based in China. My Sandals arrived 5 weeks after ordering... in a battered box. I ordered a size 9/40 ( and the sandal was larger in size. It was more like a 10.5)... I emailed the customer service and someone with horrible grammar/english told me that they would give me $5 refund for my troubles but that they recommended I keep the sandals and buy the appropriate size next time... um, excuse me, I DID! It was near impossible to communicate with them because of their terrible English.
I ordered these a while back and they FINALLY arrived on 2.27. The box was severely damaged but whatever, it happens. The shoes however are fake. They are decent fakes, but they are fake. The site (which I can't find any longer) touts they are real. I am pissed.

I both 3 pair of sandals of you time ago. After wait a lot time because you did not have in stock. Now in SUMMER I started use mine and It is broken! Like it you can see the picture I Use 3 or 4 times it is almost new. It is not fair! It is BIRKENSTOCK!
Im very desapoointed!
Bought two pairs of discounted Birkenstock shoes. Website seemed well put together. Payment was legit. Pictures showed real Birkenstock sandals. Sandals took forever to arrive in the mail, came in deceptively real Birkenstock boxes with real tags and tissue paper however I'm fairly certain the boxes were reused as they appeared largely damaged. The straps were not made from realy leather, sizes were not comparable to real Birkenstock sandals, the quality of the metal clasps is cheap at best and the "leather" straps were mishapen. Don't be fooled by the discounted prices and seemingly well put together website. These are fake shoes.
I should have known better. The website appeared to be legitimate. None of the shoe options were obviously fake- the colors, sizes and styles were all as you would expect. My payment processed right away, but I knew something was wrong when it took weeks for the shoes to ship. Once I got shipping confirmation, the shipping location was China.
When the package finally arrived it was in a shipping BAG- so the boxes were destroyed. Mailing label said US Postal Service, which was obviously a lie.
The boxes look like real Birkenstock boxes, but the color and box material is very different. I ordered a pair of Madrid and Arizona sandals. I must say, they are pretty good knock-offs, but they are fake for sure. The uppers/straps are synthetic- they are not leather. The footpad does appear to be leather.
I am mad at myself for falling for this. I will shop locally next time and pay the price I would expect to pay for the real deal.
