I have been redoing the equipment in my salon and have purchased almost all of it from Salon Guys. Everything that I have ordered came on time with all of the pieces and undamaged. I did have a problem with dryers and they were total helpful and took full responsibility. They are great to talk to on the phone if you have questions, I am a fairly new salon owner so I had lots of them! I have read some questionable reviews and felt it necessary to write this review, so I fully endorse this company and will definitely buy from them again. :)
I received my Monroe chair today for today online it is beautiful rich and color shiny leather what I received was a Matt color chair very dull oh I called because I thought there was a mistake the lady told me they have professionals to come in and take pictures that is why it looks shiny maybe I should put conditioner on it to make it shining very sad

I bought a hydraulic chair in 2018 and the pump has gone out and they don't have nor can't find me a replacement. I guess that makes it disposable I can't believe there are no parts available!
They're products didn't do anything but wrecked my hair, whether it's the blow dryer or the tidal wave spray, both made my hair the opposite of what the description was, took away volume, added friz and took away pretty much the texture that made my hair actually have more volume and hold before I even used those products. The blow dryer will wreck your hair and take away any fundamental hold on your hair and make it very frizzy. They don't allow returns for any product because they "promise that their products do work." I don't know if that's even legal when it comes to false advertising with a unusually heavy price tag.

Please use a different site that allows returns and has effective products that don’t scam from fake advertisements and unusually high price tags.

I bought a scale (digital)... from the get go it was very temperamental, I kept ur thinking I'd figure it out. It couldn't be that hard... thinking I'd figure it out soon enough. My co worker said it was faulty/ temperamental too. Well salon guys said it was non returnable. I would have to send in a video etc... what a huge disappointment. I spose I'll think very hard b4 I buy equipment from them again. Return policy sux. I bought it in June. I called to see if I could return it bc it's faulty. I had to buy another one from Framar. Much better with a gr8 return policy. The girl I spoke to was lovely & apologetic but I'm stuck with this useless scale that is now in the trash. $$$$ down the drain. Urghgg. Salon guys customer service. Sux dot com.
I purchased 5 barber chairs in June 2018, long story short since the purchase I've continually had mechanical and over all shoddy equipment breakdown. Salon Guys resolution is to continue to try to bandaid the situation with sending replacement parts that I have to take time from my day to replace and put back together. One would think that any reputable company would replace the product especially when the same problem recurred multiple times. The company's options age to once again send replacement parts or maybe offer me a discount on replacing the chairs, really?

We were happy to have you return all of the equipment that you purchased from us for a Full Refund as long as you ship it back to us, but unfortunately we never heard back from you.

I ordered a salon sink that was well overpriced to begin with. When it arrived it just didn't fit the space intended. When I tried to return it the return policy is so beyond absurd that it would have cost more than I paid to return it! Furious! So I installed it in my basement at home and it is honestly the worst, cheapest sink I have ever used! Too shallow and small and leaks every time! PEOPLE AVOID SALON GUYS!

The Fanola No Yellow Shampoo has lived up to its name and does work like a charm. Wipes out any golden tones in my hair.
On the downside, when I received the product, the bottle looked like it had obviously been used before. I decided not to return it because it was still almost full but if you're expecting your customers to be paying $60+ on a hair product, I'd suggest delivering them a BRAND NEW unused bottle. Pretty disappointing.

Our products are all new and never have been used or open. Sometimes on the way to you during delivery from the bags getting tossed the bottle may get a dent, but nothing outrageous.

Do Not Order From Salon Guys!*
I ordered 6 salon chairs from salon guys. I noticed immediately that when we get a drip of color or hair product on the arms of the chairs and wipe it off it either leaves a permenant stain on them or totally removes the finish on the metal arms. I called salon guys and spoke with Katelyn, she said she has never heard of this happening before. She spoke to the warehouse ans they suggested I should use some acetone to remove the stains. That did nothing. The arms are supposed to be stainless steel and the chairs are made to be in the salon which should mean you can get a little bit of color on the arms and it should not completely ruin them.
This definately should not be happening at all! I called back and was supposidly was directed to Katelyn's manager. She said this happens all the time and that they can't do anything about it because it is considered "normal wear and tear." They will not issue a refund or help me out in any way. This is happening to brand new salon chairs! The company obviously does not stand behind their product at all. So now I'm stuck with ruined chairs that are costly and it looks horrible! If you want a quality product or if you expect any customer service, do not order from Salon Guys!

Can I do negative stars? This is the worst company! Do not shop here. I ordered a chair, paid $89 shipping to get it to me. The chair was way too short (never had a chair be so short) and it was super uncomfortable. They made me pay $130 to ship it back and then charged me a $100 restocking fee. They were not willing to work with me in any way. This company is awful! Run as fast as you can away from them!

We purchased 24 styling chairs from Salon Guys in 2012 and by 2015 13 of them are leaking hydraulic fluid and no longer pumping up. They first said we must have exceeded the weight limit on the chairs (250lbs)... I don't think so. Then they said the chairs are the most economical chairs and only have a life expectancy of 5-10 years... Correct me if I'm wrong but we are not in 2017 or 2022 are we? I would never again make a purchase from them as they no longer stand by their products after one year and in this industry we would expect that our salon styling chairs would last much longer than that.

I ordered some facial equipment from Salon Guys. The facial equipment did arrive with some manufacture defects; however, they were very prompt, courteous and professional in the handling of this matter. They covered all return cost and took the matter seriously. I received my replacement equip em and am very satisfied.

Low quality products! I purchased 4 chairs 2 years ago and they all need replacing. Leaking hydraulic pumps, tilting seats, rusty foot rests, weak bases... Chairs r extremely tippy... And bad customers service... Save your $ and shop elsewhere
Got a call from my credit company today saying that my credit card was charged $976.00 dollars after giving my info to Salon guys for a 29.00 dollar purchase of a bottle of shampoo! Thankfully the card company called me to inform me and declined the purchase! DO NOT GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL FROM YOU!

I bought some Streamline Shampoo chairs on clearance at a GREAT price not long ago after my older ones needed replacing and they are fantastic. Clients remark how comfortable they are. I bought several items that had to be returned because they didn't fit or work properly. But my major issue is the Avondale Lockhart chair I paid a fortune for. I opened a small studio salon and I work 2 days a week. Inside of a year the seams on the chair arms started ripping. Now and it is barely 2 years they are a complete mess. I contacted them last year- no warranty. I have never bought anything for the salon that wasn't warrantied for at least the first year. It is very sad they are taking our hard earned money and giving us garbage. I want the word out there so others don't make the same mistake.
I had been referred by another barbershop whom had a pleasant experience. I purchased 8 chairs, and they arrived. I was very happy and all had gone well. UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK I FIND OUT BRENNEN / BRENDAN (sp?) FROM GAVE GLP AKA SALON GUYS GAVE OUT MY NAME, ORDER INFO, PRICE PAID, ETC. TO A SHADY SUPPLY STORE TRYING TO MAKE A DEAL AND BECOME THE LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR. Be warned they share personal information and with how identity theft is out there, DONT RISK IT. Order with another company.
Bought some Fanola shampoo from them and I am located in Toronto, Canada. When I created the account online, it has my Canadian address and also says free shipping. However, Canadians cannot place any orders online and have to place it over the phone. The toll free number is a dead end bc apparently its only available for Americans.
Called the US number, which is no where to be found on their website and called to complain how my order never went through. The lady who answered the phone, she had a voicemail and her name is Alyssea, however it's spelt. She never responded or cared to call back. Emailed them to complain how I suddenly received a bill in my mail saying I have to pay for tax and duties to FedEx. Alyssea never informed me about this hidden fee as I'm under the impression that it is free shipping.
My order was about $107 USD and that still has to be converted to CAD. Now I have tax and duties of $77. I'm paying nearly an equivalent amount to my order number just to cross the border. How is that even possible? If I was informed that I'd be charged with extra tax and duties, I would not have placed an order or give them my business. I'm surprised their business is still running after all these poor reviews.

Stay away! I ordered two facial steamers from this company. I only received one steamer. I immediately called Fedex to find the other box. FedEx said there were only two boxes that shipped. Well, they delivered two boxes and when we opened the boxes, it was one steamer divided into two boxes. I have been told there is nothing they can do because the boxes go by weight! Are you kidding me! Think twice before you order and I think Amazon needs to reconsidered having them on their site.
