Called them (actually thought I was calling hotel) to make a reservation near Newark Airport. My concern was that the hotel offered extended parking while I away for a week.
Agent went away for five minutes then came back and told me that the inflated room rate included complimentary parking for as long as I was gone. She lied. I called back after receiving emailed confirmation that said nothing about the "parking package." Good thing I did. Second agent I spoke with said they don't know anything about hotel parking rates. She then actually called the hotel and found out that the daily parking rate would be an additional $20/day.
Why can't you let people that call you know you're a third party making this reservation and making them pay a fee for this useless service? Forget it, I know the answer…. Good luck with your "Venus flytrap" business model.
