Yesterday I went online to make a stock trade in my online account at Morgan Stanley. There is not way to make one, so I emailed them and they said I had to call to make a trade. I called yesterday, and was on hold for over an hour. Hung up and called back again today. On hold for almost 2 hours with no answer. All service professionals are currently on the line. Please hold and your call will be answered by our next available service professional. What service? Meanwhile the stock is going down. I have already lost $100 from yesterday to today. No recourse for this type of injustice and incredibly bad and old fashioned service. Still holding.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this stock brokerage.

The Morgan Stanley team has worked with me for more than a decade and has been there for me through all the market volatility and "held my hand" when I needed it! You can't go wrong with Morgan Stanley.

Stay Away! They are horrible. I have stock Tesla that I was going to borrow against. They tell you 2 to 3 business days, but don't seem to know why after day 4 they haven't heard anything. I ended up transferring back to e-trade. They wanted to charge me $150 a year for account fees and financial advice and even though I never spent a week with them, they slow played enough that cost me $5,400. They were nice enough to waiver transfer fees to send back to e-trade after I lost a shipment order. Thanks! If your financial advice cost me $5,400 in less then a week, then I'll pass.

If they say the sky is blue, you'd better go check.

Writing this review about Morgan Stanley and how first impressions and false promises are what will happen to you if you trust them! My family invested with them from the 1970's through 2018. I'm sorry to say that from 2015-2018 that quality and satisfaction came to a halt. I was involved with the Morgan Stanley Dallas Preston Plaza office Nicholas group. At FIRST they seem really of good quality and expertise. That expertise is a true falsehood. I had several assets with them and in 2018 my whole world changed due to negligence and possible fraud.(Fraud is what I know happened but can't 100%prove) I noticed significant losses and requests to pull back were IGNORED by the Nicholas group. I was losing everything. I kept inquiring and asking to pull back. (IGNORED REPEATEDLY AGAIN) My whole financial life was crushed to the tune of over 160 grand! (More in my opinion) More on that soon. I was then dismissed as a client and told to find other means. I should have pulled out a year or do before.(My fault for trusting) The group I was with mentioned above was quite negligent and compromised with my CASH! Requests ignored and calls never returned. In the past that NEVER happened. This group let there personal lives cloud and make there decisions compromised. If you must invest try a smaller company that's out to help you the client be successful and themselves as well. I've learned this. I'm ashamed I trusted them and hope everyone reading this will learn about integrity and fraud and NEGLIGENCE. This group and company has no idea about the first word. They are experts I feel in the latter. Thank you all and God bless.

Another financial institution that talks a big game but cuts every corner with clients to pocket more money for themselves.

I had an account with them for four years. During that time my money went up ONLY 3.5%. S&P went up 49%, QQQ went up 102%. I had asked for 50% aggressive growth; 35% moderate; 15% conservative. MS put me in Morningstar funds rated less than 2.5. Complained and got NOWHERE. Asked to move my money into better performing funds; was refused. Then was told had absolutely NO RIGHTS OR SAY in how MY money was to be invested. Fiduciary account? Ha! Incompetent financial advisors of the worst kind. When I went to move my money to a different investment firm Morgan Stanley stalled and stalled and refused to communicate TO ME that they would not release MY MONEY. I had to force the issue. STAY away. STAY FAR AWAY.

This company is an absolute scam; they want your money in exchange for it when you don't get it out. However, S-I-M-0-N-C-H.C-O-M was able to locate my money and provide it to me without any hassles in less than a week.
