Mike is great, I have worked with him twice now over a 6 year period. He has helped us buy two homes. He is very knowledgeable of the market and helps you to make the best decisions, financially and for your family. He is also familiar with the rental market and helped us make decisions about a house we were turning into a rental. He put us in contact with contractors and other servicemen to do projects on our homes as well.

Mike and his staff take care of the all the details. I never met Mike until after purchasing my house since I was 1000 miles away. He made me feel comfortable since day one. After the purchase he continued to help me by getting in touch with local utilities for uninterrupted service. Also suggested contractors that he had confidence in to do upgrades to our house. My experience with Michael Edgar was outstanding. I was buying from out of state and Michael handled ever little detail for us with sellers, title company and loan processor. Michael knew the area very well and always made himself available to my family. I found Michael from a Radio commercial in So Cal. Mike has a subtle way he goes about letting me know that he knows what we need to stay focused on. He is very confident at what he does which helped us make a good decision. He is a tell it how it is kind a guy. He was very personable with us which made us feel like we knew him for longer than we did. He was always available to us for ALL the stupid little questions. He was also patient with us through the year or more process.

Beware of this fraud. She will steal your identity and she always seems be on drugs, very unusual person. She needs to stop scamming people.

Michael is a pro. He knows the local market but can also relate to the out of towner relocating because he was that once upon a time. He was gracious to spend time showing out of towners key points around town, so he is not just interested in showing you house x y and z. He is responsive to questions and knows the real estate process. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mike was not only my Realtor in the transaction of purchasing my first home, but a newly found friend. He made me feel at ease and never rushed me. He was prompt to answer questions and never wasted my time by showing me houses outside of my budget or that didn't suite my needs. Mike it was a pleasure knowing and working with you! Mike was always down to earth and honest with us. He knew a lot about the market and the local construction and was able to answer any questions we had. Looked at several homes, sadly the homes I liked from websites were sold before I got there.

Mike knew my price range, so we looked at homes that fit. Several new homes, some existing

We narrowed it down to 2 homes 1 built in 2008 (needed paint) and a newer 1 (2013). Needs landscaping and fencing.
The 2008 home fit my needs better, but it was 6 years older.

Mike and I talked and he though the newer home was a better value. So I ended up buying that one.
Now Mike is keeping an eye on the place for me until I move in in late Marc"

I was introduced to Michael from my Sister. He is Calm, collected, professional and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of buying our new home in Idaho.

He was always able to meet around my schedule. I had a great experience he made thing easy and always responded quickly thank you Mike.

My family and I decided to move to Idaho from California in late 2017/ early 2018. After numerous offers and attempts to purchase a home with Michael's help and without success, we decided to give up and just rent. Out of the blue, Michael graciously offered a lease option to purchase where we would put all of the down payment (20% of the sales price)and he would purchase the home as an investment and lease back to us. Michael wrote up a contract and we agreed to lease back the home and then purchase it a year later. To be clear he did not have 50 cents into this transaction. We were beyond thrilled to finally move here and not have to waste money on rent and so our 3 children ages 9, 11, 13 could go to better schools and we could live in a nicer area in the Bainbridge subdivision.
In addition, since the real estate market was hot, we also agreed to split the profits 50/50 on whatever the home appreciated in the years time.
After moving in and after a few months my income drastically declined as a result of moving my business from California to IDAHO and since I am 100% commissioned. We did absolutely everything humanly possible to hold up our end of the bargain but could not after months of struggling, draining our savings, selling a vehicle, etc. We even offered to give Michael 60% of the profits after a few months because we felt bad about the situation. He had an addendum drafted up that same day and was more than willing to accept and jumped all over it. We notified Michael all along the process and throughout 2018 and he knew all along how much we struggled financially. We were late yes but always paid the mortgage payments monthly. At the time we moved out were were completely current on all payments. We finally decided to sell the home in February 2019, well before the years contract had expired. He listed the home and once it hit the market it sold within 2 weeks for over $45,000 more than what we originally purchased it for. We even moved out early and rented a place within a few weeks at Michael's direction so they we/he could get the house prepared, cleaned and immaculate for showings and so "it could sell faster". Once the home closed escrow and on the day we were expecting to finally receive our initial down payment back, I was sent an email from Michael with a letter from his lawyer. This is where the nightmare began. It included a breakdown of all costs, repairs associated with selling the home and a "release of liability agreement". If we did not sign the agreement, we would have to go to arbitration and if we lost our case we would/could lose everything and even have to pay his legal fees and all court costs. Furthermore, to add further insult within the letter Michael and his lawyer decided he was not only going to keep 100% of the profit BUT also pay himself another 3% commission on top of this on a home he already owned? Keep in mind the home sold in 2 weeks after listing and there were ZERO open houses performed. My wife and I were completely blind sided, shell shocked and completely devastated. We were excited to move on and planned on getting OUR money back so we could finally keep our head above water and put this behind us, not to mention that this money was our entire life savings. After assessing our options and next steps, over the next few weeks I tried numerous times to speak with him in person and he was not available, "too busy" texts and continuously delayed meeting in person. After getting no where after repeated attempts, I have spoken to a lawyer and filed a formal complaint with the IDAHO REAL ESTATE COMMISSION which is currently in process. We adamantly feel he did not have our best interests at heart from day 1 and simply did not do the right thing especially since he represented both himself and us the whole time. Please do your homework and speak to previous employees and clients and be careful who you trust. We unfortunately found out the hard way and I wish I had listened to my wife from day 1. We truly wish in hindsight that we would have not trusted Michael but time will tell what becomes of this horrible experience we had to endure while Michael got to line his pockets with half of our life savings with zero risk to himself.

I found Mike's profile online and Mike responded quickly to our interests. He had a packet of homes prepared for us to walk through based on our needs. He was very accessible through email, text and phone and made us feel comfortable buying our first home. I have only positive things to say about our experience with Mike!

I appreciate the variety of classes and workshops available for craft enthusiasts of all skill levels. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, offering assistance and inspiration for my creative projects.

We contacted Mike to help us buy a home in the Boise area. We moved from Utah, so we didn't know the area at all. We had a short time frame and really only one day to look at houses. He worked with us before our house hunting trip to figure what we were looking for. When we arrived, he showed us 20+ houses in one day! He explained the different areas and the great things about Boise as we drove around to the houses. Once we put the offer in on the house we wanted, he was very quick in communicating what needed to happen. All in all, he did what needed to get done to make sure we could move into the new house when we needed to. He made a very stressful process much easier.

My home had been listed as a short sale and Michael was very informed and helpful. He was able to negotiate with the mortgage companies so that in the end we were able to have receive a little of those funds. After 7 years on the market with another realtor it was a relief when Mike was able to get the job done! Thanks for selling our home in Kuna on Kings Rd.

Michael was very personable and really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted in a home. This was our first time looking at houses and purchasing a home and he worked with us every step of the way. We didn't feel like he was pushy at all and didn't rush us into making any decisions we weren't ready for. Since we were new to the area, it was nice to have someone really take the time to explain and show us homes in good neighborhoods. It really felt like it was all tailored just to us.

Excellent communication skills and was very timely in his responses to questions and other requests, such as viewing the home multiple times.

We are exploring where we would like to retire and decided that we might want to check out the Boise area as an option in the near future. We contacted Michael who responded quite quickly to my request. I told him what our ideas were in regards to retirement and scoping out different areas. He told us if ever wanted to come to Boise to let him know and he would give us a tour of the city and the surrounding areas to the city so we could get a lay of the land. The term he used, "So that you can narrow down the area where you might want to plant your flag." We met with him in Oct of 2015 and we could not have had a better experience! He picked us up at our hotel and took us around for 2 days! First day was the tour of the city and surrounding are of the city and to look at a few houses I had seen on Zillow. After ascertaining what we were really looking for, he set up homes for the second day to look at in areas that were of interest to us. He NAILED IT! The homes we looked at were gorgeous and exactly the types of homes that would c be of interest to us. We will not be moving for the next few years, but in our opinion if we decide to "plant that flag" in Boise, we will not use anyone other then Michael. No pressure, straight facts, he listens to what you are saying and really hears you. Not to mention he is a very pleasant gentleman. Both my husband and I were very impressed. Even though we are not ready to buy yet, I would recommend him HIGHLY to anyone considering the Boise, ID area. You cannot lose.
