My Ryobi leaf blower stopped working after just two years of light use around the house. After doing some research, I found this site ereplacementparts which sells the part: ******* - Switch & Contact Assembly for ***much less*** than the other sites. After reading and looking at the instructions for replacement, I followed the guide and found that replacing this switch was fun and easy! This switch seems to be a defective unit on many Ryobi leaf blowers and rather than throw the blower away, I would highly suggest that anyone can replace it quickly and efficiently! Be sure to pick up the right tool for removing the two piece handle, and photo the wiring before you start! It is a #15 torque drive screw driver available at any hardware store. My Ryobi SAVED and you can save yours too!
