I placed an order with Mew Mews on 03/04/25, expecting a smooth and timely delivery as advertised on their website. Their shipping policy clearly states 3–5 business days for standard items and 7–15 business days for handcrafted pieces. However, after 8 days, I started worrying as I hadn't received the tracking number yet so I decided to reach out myself on 11/04 to inquire about my order. To my surprise, I was told the item would not be dispatched until 08/05, more than a month after I placed my order. This delay is completely unacceptable and contradicts their own stated shipping timelines. When I asked for compensation for the delay and inconvenience (especially since I won't be receiving the item in time for an important event in May), I was offered a 15% discount code for a future purchase — as if I would be willing to order from them again after this experience. Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed. There was no proactive communication, no transparency, and no meaningful resolution. I expected far better from a fashion brand claiming to offer quality service. Definitely think twice before ordering from Mew Mews.

This experience had been hell on earth. Dec 6 I purchased two dress for new years options. The week before news, I reached out asking about when things would be shipped as I hadn't received anything. They explain to me they're still making one of the dresses and to be patient. A little annoyed, I bought a new years dress from elsewhere. Two weeks later I ask what is going on, they say they'll ship one of my dresses. Jan 16 I finally get both of my dresses. I open it up, the one that's made of sequins is falling apart. Sequins all over my bedroom floor and bathroom and threads hanging off. The second dress is two snug such is strange since they're both the same size. I reach out for a refund request, they state to me that the first dress they can give me a 60% gift card and the second dress I should "give to a friend"or take a 60% gift card "because it's a sale item"….l've sent pictures, they admit that they see the issue with my dress and still are refusing to give me what I'm owed. I'm already talking to the Federal Trade Commission but this is so frustrating DONT BUY HERE. Go to Miss Circle, at least they're in the US and honor their return policies.

Terrible products
August 16, 2024

I received a $253 dress that I purchased for my wedding events. This came to me ripped, tassels broken, and jewels that fell off leaving glue to be seen on my dress. I was then told by support to go to a seamstress and have it repaired. Are you kidding?

I am being told I will not get a refund. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Please don't purchase from a company that doesn't hold value to their items.

Lousy products, no reimbursements

Cheap, barely stretchable polyester
Not only the swimsuit was cut badly and short in length (too tight in bust and hips, but too wide in waist- hence unflattering), but since it was stitched very stiffly, it cuts into skin when moving- meaning, your swimming and beach activities won't be comfortable while wearing it. The polyester is of the '1st generation' type, barely stretchable, so there's no 'hugging' of your shape, unless you are shaped like a cylinder. And finally, the kicker- they are only willing to exchange it or give you a gift card (for their shop.) They refuse to take anything back for reimbursement!

Disappointed
April 3, 2024

Overall experience was awful. Customer service was terrible. Order on time, even paid for express shipping (safe side NY). Spend $630 worth of merchandise. Unfortunately, I end up buying another dress from a different store, do to their lack of communication and no shipping confirmation 10 days later (no dress). If I could suggest giving CS ID # to help the company's reputation and re-train employee.

Purchase a gift for my wife's birthday. Turns out her b day was 6 days past their pathetic 7 day return window. No mention of that when ordering. After multiple emails they deny my return but offer 20% off next purchase. No thanks we will never buy another thing from this shady company. It's also just a shell company shipping cheap China products. Don't be fool by their photoshop adds.

"A woman on Facebook named Christian Rivera persuaded me to invest €670,430. After several months, I was unable to withdraw my money, which is when I realized I had been cheated. Thankfully, when I protested to S I M O N C H *C O M, they assisted me in getting my money back.

I recently placed a large (to me) order with Mew Mew. The package arrived reeking of some chemical. When I contacted them about a return, I was told to take a picture. Of the smell. I've initiated a chargeback. However, they emailed asking for reviews on their malodorous clothing and I noticed that said reviews have not been posted, which makes me suspicious that the reviews currently shown on the site are either fake or curated. I won't be shopping with them again.

Just Don't 🚩🚩🚩

I have never, in my life, experienced such a bad customer service experience than I have with Mew Mews. To be honest, I wish I did more research before spending over $300 to which I am fighting to get refunded.

I searched their website to see where an order would ship from. They stated their return address is in New Jersey (but they did not specifically list an actual address). Assuming it would ship from the continental US I figured I'd be fine with shipping so I went ahead and ordered.

The garment was packaged and shipped within a day (great!)... from China. Thankfully I purchased overnight shipping so even through the holidays I figured I'd be fine.

The item came quickly however when I opened the package the garment was damaged. It was a jumpsuit with gems on it and on the bodice multiple gems were either completely off or were hanging by a small piece of glue. I attempted to try on the jumpsuit and while putting it on one foot even more gems fell off. There would've been zero chance I could've worn it out without it falling apart.

Disappointed I initiated a return, within their 7 day policy. I received an email back stating that they needed photos and the garments name (something I had already given via their online form).

Long story short, Mew Mews is refusing to give me their return address and my money back. In their first response they offered a $40 gift card and asked me to reglue the gems on‼ 🚩
They have offered a replacement which is now not needed since it's well passed my event I needed it for. They are trying everything under the sun to not give me back my money. Even claiming that a return "would be a hassle". I have an open claim via PayPal and yet they are STILL refusing to give me the return address and a full refund.

Because PayPal will hold the funds, the company attempted to email me outside of PayPal offering me 50% back of my purchase price.

It's truly baffling that a company would attempt consumer fraud but alas here we are. Thankfully I have everything documented and live in a state with strict consumer laws (be sure to check yours where you live!) I know I'll get my funds back but to go through so much time and effort to get my money back, when I initiated the return within the company's policy, is not only frustrating but very much illegal. I intend to follow through with every process needed until my funds are returned.
