Not only was the jacket stunning, but my docent character at the Daly Mansion (Montana) will no doubt catch the eyes of visitors: detail in the seams and button closures, stunning brocade fabric and the style that any Edwardian woman would be proud to wear. Sizing is slightly smaller than I expected, but the fit still is comfortable. Received the package well within the delivery date and lovingly packed. Maribel will be stylin'!
Sizing system is poor and they don't support return shipping. They have a bad system to get a gun belt to fit. Also, they expected me to pay return and reshipping fees.

Submitting orders on weekend usually don't get responses until the week. Historical Emporium responded immediately and the coat was delivered in about three days, regular shipping, from California to central (latitudinally) Oregon.
I was so shocked with the incredible customer service, ease of ordering, quality of products and fast delivery, I was stunned. I've never had such a great experience shopping, in person or online. I can't expressed how surprised and happy I was. I highly recommend Historical Emporium!

When ordering Smoking Jackets or Robes, suggest the buyer purchase an ascot. I could really use one with my Historical Emporium purple velvet smoking robe. It would take the game to the next level!

The quality was good, but there was a sizing issue. I found your service rep less than helpful when I asked about sizing. I do not think your sizing chart with Cahill Hats is particularly accurate. That being said, your customer service rep was indifferent and lacked suggestions. I will return and try a size smaller. I buy a lot of hats and I think your sizing may too generous, but the smaller may fit. This is not thanks to your customer service rep, but because I would really like the hat. Enough to incur an extra $27 charge for return postage.

This is the first time we ordered from Historical Emporium, it won't be the last. The order was filled, shipped, and arrived before Christmas even though the order was placed just five days before Christmas. The shipping packaging was great for protecting the order. First rate experience with this company.
Your size chart is not accurate. I used my bust size to order a vest but the actual article of clothing wasn't even close. It's YOUR mistake, but I had to pay an additional $24 to send it back and cover YOUR shipping costs for the exchange. I know of no other company that does that.
I love their inventory. I buy a lot of daily things. I'm a big guy and their things fit nice.

You guys have always done your best to get what I purchased to me in a professional timely manor
I had some questions on a few items, they were very helpful answering. Order was received in 2 days, items were of good quality and exactly as seen on website. I did need to return and exchange the pants for a different size (mistake on my part, I ordered my usual waist size, website does suggest measuring just below your naval, generally a size or 2 above your usual). Received replacement within 2 days, they fit perfectly! Highly recommend and I will be ordering more in the near future.

When ordering trousers, follow the instructions and measure around your abdomen just below the naval, generally a size or two above your usual pants waist size.
