I have been using cast iron for over 5 years now. I stayed away from alleged nonstick due to warping, lack of nonstick over time and pricing to replace. I purchased Gotham steel as a $100 experiment to see if it was really worth the money. I am now 2 months in and I have used most items in my set extensively. I placed them in the dishwasher before using just to sterilize them. Instructions said use a little oil with first use so i did. In the frying pan I have cooked salmon, cod and trout filets, shrimp, scallops, pork chops, eggs, bacon, sausage rack of lamb and steaks ( not at the same time...lol) My meats all had bones in them and none scratched the pan. I use a sponge with the green scouring to clean them if needed and when not needed a plain dishrag and dawn and the clean with ease. I will admit coming from cast iron it is my norm to add a tap of oil to cover the bottom from habit and never using more than a medium heat. 4-5 setting on electric stove. I did cook my shrimp, scallops and fish with no oil and all items cooked came out perfect with minimal clean up. Again, I am 2 months into ownership and I made it a point to cook maybe 3-4 times a week since I have purchased. On note, they do not scratch easily, but I did bump one of the pots with my cast iron pan and it did take a chip out. I am a bit paranoid so I have bubble wrap that i use to keep each Gotham Steele item separated against accidental wear and tear. So far I am more than pleased. I am looking to purchase the bakeware set next for my cakes and cookies and see if they hold up just as well.
They SUCK! There not easy to clean. There supposed to be scratch resistant they are not! I'm disabled I was hoping for pans that wouldn't be hard to clean. What a joke. These are very expensive to me. I believe this false advertising. For myself being disabled I'm disappointed.I put my trust into your product. It failed miserable. I sent the photo. You show nails, bolts and other things that aren't supposed to scratch it. I will say again LOOK at the pan

Have used 4 Gotham Skillets for 3 years. All of them are great when New, over time they degrade to POOR.
I'm 71yrs old, grew up with Cast Iron skillets, I never use medium to high heat.
No scratches, dings or dents, every food product STICKS, even Bacon!
Very dissappointed in the Gothem Steel I got from Walmart. Thin and cheap for the price.
I was so very excited till I'm not.Real Big Dissappointment! I🥺😭
Tip for consumers:
I would submit receipt but it was a gift that I was so excited about but unfortunately for me I'm looking for better replacements.

Gotham Steel don't care for
I purchased this set for Christmas 2023. Gotham Steel Diamond Pots and Pans Set Nonstick Cookware Set Includes Skillets Fry Pans Stock Pots, Dishwasher, and Oven Safe12 Pcs. It says it has a 10-year warranty. Stove top and oven safe. Compatible with gas, electric, glass tops, and oven safe up to a sizzling 500 degrees. After 6 months of use, every pan now sticks and gets worse with every use.

Bought one of the frying pans with get one and free small egg frying pan. One has held up okay while the other pan, although not used to much and never with metal utensils, showed nicks shortly thereafter (see 1st pic); with that said the small egg frying pan has performed well. Was finally able to get the nicked pan replaced (see 2nd pic), but it did take more effort than should have been required; thus the customer service side does have a lot to be desired. Maybe because of mass production, it could be a crapshoot whether you get a pan that holds up to the hype or not. Nevertheless, based on the pricing I guess it's worth a roll of the dice. To that end though, you will have to keep your patience when deal with their customer service and hold their feet to the fire.
Tip for consumers:
Replacement versus refund, but have to be diligent when dealing with their customer service.

I am not pleased with the fact that both skillets I have spin on top of my cooktop instead of just sitting flat. And, that creates a problem bc nobody wants to use those skillets bc of this. We end up using the chicken fryer... ughhhhh

We have a set, or at least what is left that are useable. Number one complaint is that they don't have a flat bottom. Fine if you have a gas stove but not so much on a glass top. They just rock around on the glass top. Where they touch the top, the food burns, and where they don't touch the top, food does not cook properly. Number two is the non stick coating does not last. It just burns away. They may be good for six months, but after that you will be throwing them out. Lids are ok though. Spend a little more on decent pans such as Jamie Oliver pans.
Pans lasted just at 90 days now everything sticks to them such a scam such a rip off got them for my wife for mothers day and she is extremely disappointed. They do what they do to get you to buy them with the commercials etc.yeah of course they work when brand new then after that CRAP worst pans ive every purchased.90 money back guarantee...if you stand behind your product offer a lifetime...if they really are what you say they are...wish i could get my money back! STAY FAR AWAY from this product
I purchased my set a year ago and have been happy. Now all the pans are sticking and getting a residue that you can't get off. Product is supposed to cook up to 500 degrees, so don't understand the rep saying cooking to high a temp, so turn down the heat. Never again! Lost my faith 💔
They stick scratch and stain the rivets are coming out of the handles. The pans are alight but the scillets are garbage. I received them as a Christmas gift.

I'm still useing the pots . I still have the scillets.
BUT DONT USE THEM
We are satisfied with our set of Gotham steel pans. Only issue we have encountered so far In the 2+yrs owning them Is that the pans dry out very quickly no matter how much butter or liquid you add to it somehow it absorbs it all rather quickly. Other than that we haven't had any issues with the pans
The coating comes off. It is not hard at all plastic utensils scratch it off. Plum sorry don't buy.
I cannot even give these pans a one star they have to be the worst pans I have ever used I have some 10-year-old granite stones that I'm using now because the new Gotham steel ones you couldn't fry an egg in without a sticking to it worst pans ever made
Frying pans scrape up after continuous use. The Baking dishes are awesome. On the frying pans it's as if the coating comes off scratch's really easy any you have to use oil.

Purchased these in 2022. Had them a very short time before they stared chipping and peeling. Even the ones I used less. I had contacted their support multiple times and every time they had said they were sending it and give it a few weeks. They eventually stopped replying to me all together and I have now had to purchase a new pots and pan set. I'm really disappointed in not just the set but the customer service especially when it's guaranteed 1 year warranty. I don't recommend buying this set.
I received the Gotham steel cookware in January of this year. Worked fine until this morning (July). My pancakes glued tight to the surface of the pan, and some would not come off without vigorous scrubbing. What a disappointment!
I purchased 2 of the small frying pans 2 years ago. Use them all the time for over easy eggs and they still look like new. Even though they say you don't need to oil the pans, I always use the nonstick spray. They clean up easy and there are no scratches or discoloration like I got with cheaper cookware.
These pans are pretty, but the claim that food doesn't stick is so false. You also cannot use metal utensils. I used beaters for potatoes once, like the commercial shows, and it ruined the pan. They cost too much for all this.
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your money.

Literally bought a set on 11/20/23 based on everything I saw on the commercials. As far as non stick it's great but using metal utensils such as the hand mixer they show on tv is a no go. When I called customer service about it I was told to take it back where I bought it!

Pans are not like advertised and stick. After about 3 weeks of being used my large fry pan food started sticking. Bacon sticks and my Teflon pan that I have had for over 10yrs scratched up, food cooks great but pan just doesn't look nice and new but food doesn't stick.

I don't know about anyone else's pots and pan's and skillets, but definitely should have done my research better because these pan's and things are horrible. Everything sticks and I mean everything!
I love my Gotham Steel pan set and baking set. There is no problem with food sticking or burning but you do need to follow directions as with any other cookware or bakeware set.
At first I was very pleased with my purchase. However after the 90 days ran out the pans began to discolor and the non stick wasn't working. It says you don't need to use oil or butter but never says you can't. So I began to use some olive oil and it only got worse. Now they will not replace or refund anything for the two pans I have claiming it was my fault for using oil. My suggestion is to purchase from another company such as copper chef. Those products are phenomenal and I haven't had any issues.
