We have been loyal buyers of (4) Sub- Zero's refrigerator, Wolf Gas range, and 4 Asko dishwashers over the past 20+ years.

We are extremely disturbed with the above (attached) recent purchase, delivery, and installation in our home in Boca Raton Florida by Fuse Specialty Appliances.

When the appliances arrived in Oct or November, Fuse wanted us to take early delivery because they did not want our appliances allocated to other customers that needed the same appliances. We agreed to take delivery in November and Fuse delivered the refrigerator, range, and dishwasher to our home in Boca Raton.

Day 1 Pre-Delivery Inspection The pre-inspection team of (2) showed up to determine if the space, plumbing water, gas line, and electric were according to Sub-Zero and Wolf detailed specifications. When they entered the home we asked them to cover their shoes with foot covering provided by us. They had an attitude and were rude from that point on. The outcome was they informed us that "everything was good and left". We never heard back from Fuse as to any discrepancies to the build out vs. the Sub-Zero and Wolf spec sheets. Fuse proceeded to make the delivery with installation to follow.

Day 2 Delivery The delivery truck arrived the (3) delivery men struggled to deliver the unopened boxes in the garage. The (3) men wheeling the refrigerator up the driveway and the unit began to fall to the ground almost on top of one of the delivery guys. They finally got it under control, however when they finally arrived at the drop point in the garage it came down with a hard impact to the concrete floor. The range dishwasher and micro drawer were also delivered to the garage. No damages were identified by the delivery team and the boxes were not opened.

Day 3 Install (attempt 1) The install team comes to install all appliances. They identified two problems.
The refrigerator water supply was not installed according to the Sub Zero specifications and needed to be lowered.
The cabinet did not have a block of wood to secure the Sub-Zero at the top with two screws.
They did not unpack any boxes and let us know that we needed to move the ice water supply line, and have the kitchen carpenter install to blocks of wood to the cabinet for the screws at the top of the refrigerator.

After the Fuse installers left, we scheduled our plumber to move the water supply. We also had the kitchen installer add two blocks of wood for screws to secure to the cabinet. In addition, our electrician uncovered that the electric and gas line for the Wolf Range was reversed according to the Wolf Spec Sheet, and the actual position on the back of the Wolf Range that was stored in our garage. Our electrician informed us that this was a fire hazard and should be corrected.

We contacted Fuse when and found out that we had the wrong Wolf spec sheet. Darrawn informed us that Wolf changed the layout of the gas and electric. Again, we were very disturbed that the pre-inspection on day 1 did not disclose or inform us that this needed to be changed before the installers were sent.

Day 4 Install (attempt 2) Fuse installers return to unbox and install after we had moved the water line, electric, and installed the blocks of wood at the top of the cabinet. They unboxed the refrigerator and found two penetrating holes in the back of our new Sub Zero. We called Fuse and would not accept the unit being damaged. The install would have to wait until Fuse could determine how we get a replacement refrigerator. We paid a lot of money and expect our new Sub Zero to be perfect. Fuse informed us that the unit was okay, and we had two options:
Order a new sub Zero.
That would take up to 1 year for us to get.
The replacement unit would cost us $12k vs $10k
We could keep the damaged Sub-Zero and installer would put tape over the holes. They would also issue us a $700 credit.
We unwillingly accepted option 2 and are not satisfied.

Day 5 Install (attempt 3) Fuse installers show up for the final install. They did not call-in advance, so they had to wait 30 minutes before we arrived at the house to let them in. They asked if they could use our bathroom. We let them know that our bathrooms were not installed, and our porta-potty was recently removed by our general contractor. They rushed thru the install. They did not connect the gas line to the range, the range door control panel was crooked and eventually fell off, and the anti-tipping was not installed on the range. In addition, the Sub-Zero was installed and the two screws at the top secured the refrigerator to the cabinets. The anti-tipping attachment was not installed.

In summary we are not satisfied with the delivery, installation, damaged refrigerator, and service provided by Fuse Specialty Appliances. We are very concerned about the potential hazard of our Sub-Zero refrigerator falling on us or our kids. We hope the two holes covered by tape, do not cause the refrigerator to fail sometime in the future. Fortunately, we reversed the position of the gas line and electric and have eliminated any potential fires in our home. The wolf range control panel was fixed by a second service company "High End" and works well.

This experience should be addressed because of the many issues that went wrong with the installation, delivery, and damage caused by Fuse. I feel like we got a scratch and dent refrigerator at full price. FUSE represents SUBZERO and WOLF and they should be held accountable for their inept service. We also question FUSE telling us that it would take a year to get another Sub-Zero and it would cost $2,000 more. I don't believe it and they just wanted us to go away.
