I'm part of a few rooms on this server and it's a good place. Back when I'd first joined an IRC network, we'd been on a server where the rooms had to be made secret or spambots would come in and spew the f-word. On Furrychat, I've made public rooms, such as #writers and never had this problem.
I've gone into some of the public rooms there and people are generally friendly. It's nice to have a PG rating so people know that they're supposed to stay clean. Judging from some reviews here, I know there can get to be drama, but with an open chat room, this is always going to be an issue. Don't let the rare bad apple mess up your experience.
Overall, it's a great place and I've made some good friends in my years on the server. If you want to chat in the public rooms, or make your own room, I'd highly recommend this server.
The owner is on often, so if there's a problem bigger than you can solve, it's not hard to get in contact with him.

Admins don't listen to you you'll get kicked or banned for something you didn't do no one knows how to keep to themselves and post their drama in the the main group chat and you'll constantly find NSFW context on there it should be shut down even kid's are posting NSFW content and sending nudes on pms it's disgusting and with only two admins who do their job poorly you'll probably be kicked or exposed on group chat for the littlest thing

An IRC network with a web browser supported client. I thought it would be a great place to meet other furries like myself in the beginning. But it turned out to be a crappy experience as the months went by. The friendly members and staff started shwing their true colors:

The moderators make new rules if they don't like how you rp in nearly every channel. (They're also all friends among each other who gang up on others.)

Users complain when they're talking about their lives so much that it's just whining daily.

RPs are godmodders that play unfair and the mods let them slide.

Users are rude, disrespectful towards sex, religion, and philosophy.

They hypocritically profess "PG-Rating", but just uses it to target those content they see as inappropriate like talking about political issues.

They have many channels where they keep exclusive members even if it publically listed. It used to be understandable for a few channels, but now more people have been getting into it like Silent, who is a freaking mod on the site. He used to have public channels for a long time. Then he decided to join in with exclusive issues and ban a whole lot of people for no reason. He didn't even say why, just what he could do whatever the fudge he wanted.

Stay away from this place. Don't bother coming if you are a furry or a fan of furries.
