Endhiran (or Enthiran, Tamil: எந்திரன்), otherwise "Robot", is the most expensive movie ever made in India. Clocking in at $43 million, that's still a very respectable sum even if it is only about the price of a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea at any respectable Hollywood studio canteen, and so excited was the Indian movie audience, there was - literally - dancing in the streets when the movie was released. The 61-year old star, Rajinikanth, is a household name on a par with, perhaps, Schwarzenneger, Harrison Ford, or Tom Cruise, all rolled into one. And then some.
There doesn't appear to be an official site, or if there is, I didn't find it. But this blog is as good as any of the others springing up around the web and it has a lot of good photography, and a sense of humor ("We know Rajni is the rational, thinking scientist, because he reads Freakonomics and Stephen Hawking, because he speaks in English when he gets angry... ")
Look for trailers on YouTube and there is a page on Wikipedia too:

The movie has been released worldwide, in Tamil, and dubbed into Hindi and Telugu. No English, yet, but watch out for it.
Oh, yes... another reason for this review being here, is that according to the Bible of internet statistics, Alexa.com, the second biggest audience for Sitejabber is in India, and especially in Chennai, which happens also to be the center of the Tamil movie industry. Hi guys, we didn't forget you :)
