Is this site fake for guys? If I get any replies they are auto-replies. If I respond to those I never hear back. Are the people on this site real or just fake so the site can make money?

The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.

Its a scam. The whole site is automated. Its owned by Elite dating INC. Elite dating has about 50 different automated web dating sites and are all scams.

Most of the profiles are fake. PROOF: After 26 days, I deleted all of the information and pictures on my profile and canceled but my subscription still had 4 more days. Each of those four days, I had numerous messages from women wanting to talk with me and each message then had an overlay telling me that it wasn't too late to change my mind about cancelling. Zoosk IS A SCAM!

I do believe it is fake for both guys & girls. I also believe it's just a way for them to make $$. Good luck, I'm dealing with the same "fake" issue myself right now.

Worthless service- go elsewhere! Be sure to delete entire profile & pics & then write them as many times as it takes to cancel. I wouldn't be surprised if they dont soon have a class- action law suit for scam practicing.

I believe it's all fake, I've had the same problem when responding to flirts. All have been scripted responses, then if you respond no response is received back.

I talked to a few guys on there and got some numbers and facebook friends. I never met any of them in person, so I really cant say for sure. I do know that one guy that I said I liked they would say he was online and he is a local neighbor of mine. He contacted me on facebook and let me know that Zoosk contacted him by email. He cancelled his membership months ago and they were still using his profile. That was enough for me. Good luck with that!

Many of the profiles are expired from rogue dating sites from long ago. I'm assuming to get legitimate profiles you need to buy coins to unlock the profiles you thought you would be getting in the first place. I emailed one obvious transgender female looking thing and asked if she was transgender and she replied what does that mean? LOL. I also would get canned emails about what a great guy I am only to respond and never hear a thing. There are loads of women on there listing their age as 50 and they can't be a day over 25. The real kicker is the photos. Some look like screen shots off of surveillance cameras. I think it's a total scam.

I am quite certain all the profiles are not fake. I think it is a complicated system, and I think that when people unsubscribe they don't go through all the necessary steps to delete their profile. I don't think zoosk is "scamming" any more than any other business that is hustling hard to make money. I don't understand why people find it so offensive that zoosk is "making money". Of course they're making money! We live in a capitalist society, not a socialist commune. I say relax, use your critical thinking skills, pretend you're playing a silly ice breaker party game.

One of the details about zoosk that I liked is they have an indicator whether the pics on the profile were verified or not. Use that. If you're really interested in a woman send her a message. If she doesn't answer just move on. Don't take it personally. Play the carousel game. Have fun. It's still a lot cheaper and safer than trying to find some woman in a bar and buy her drinks.

Also, you can change your search parameters and really weed out all the women you are not interested in. Be specific. Be curious. Be open.

I talked to lots of interesting guys, went on several dates and actually found a man that I am in a wonderful relationship with now. We've been together six months.

Zoosk works if you make it work for you.

There must be some real people on the site. Otherwise, real people wouldn't be complaining about it. My complaint - during 3 months on the site, I never met one women in person. I rarely got anyone to even chat with me online. This is despite the fact that I got lots of "views" from some good-looking women. There must be a lot of auto-replies happening. Judge your experience from real interaction with real women, not "views" generated by a computer.

I'm sure there are fake ones... but I met my boyfriend on Zoosk and we will be having our 1 year in October... I find the best way is to Skype with them. You can always delete them if you want later.

On my lifetime, I've met two women from Zoosk. One ended up being a very good (for a year and s half) two and half year relationship.

There are real people. They're all real as far as I know. Fussy? Oh, yes!

There are many real profiles... but the good looking women have one picture profiles stolen from somewhere else on the net...
They will auto charge your credit card until you tell them to fkin stop but won't return your money...
Join for a month... no more... and you will see the good looking ones are fakes and won't reply. There is auto reply if you click Like button... they ask for a message... but it's the machine not them... all to get your cash... I hate Zoosk because of the fake profiles... lotsa moms with kids though...

Sure I think there are fake profiles but some are very real. I met three guys and have been dating the third one for almost a year. I was contacted but a couple of VERY rude men and some that I think were scammers. Just be smart and always meet in a public place. Good idea to ask questions about things in your area too.

As far as the money, if you cancel on time there's no problem. Regarding the Carousel, I wish the suggestions were filtered by your preferences. Good luck!

Its not fake for guys. I've talked to quite a few/ Dated a couple. It takes longer than three months to meet someone you have something in common with. You can delete your account but you have to go in and cancel your subscription.

I think there are a lot of expired members still showing up on the site that it claims are looking at your profile which is clearly not the case. But I have met three different men from this site and they were obviously real. I think the trick is to not get caught up buying a bunch of stupid coins but to wait for someone to view you and send them a message to make a connection.
