Can I be guaranteed that when I purchase an "unlocked" phone, that it is TRULY unlocked? I had a bad experience with another company recently.

You cannot even guarantee you will be able to activate the phone and Swappa won't facilitate a refund from the seller. Buyer beware!

Swappa does check every device they inspect it thoroughly, so if a phone is listed as unlocked then it's unlocked no doubt about it they are a reliable website.

Hi Cynthia, on Swappa, we expect devices listed as Unlocked to be Sim unlocked. In the uncommon chance that the device is not unlocked, the seller is expected to address this post sale and you would be eligible for a full refund. We partner with PayPal to ensure buyers receive the device the way it was listed, or you'll get your money back. For more questions, feel free to email us at help@swappa.com.
