Rated people have just terminated my membership for no reason whatsoever. I have spent close to £1500 with them and had nothing but good ratings.
They are ignorant and rude when you question them about poor leads and will not refund even when i accidentally bought a lead for my sister in law who i dont speak to! I am going to request an SAR even though the ignorant girl on the phone wouldnt even give me the name of their data controller which is just illegal anyway. I will publish the findings on all the websites i can when i get the results. I think they are just crooks and they dont do any vetting, but worst of all they are pig ignorant.

I know this doesnt answer your question but the very same thing happened to me on Friday 11. 09. 15.

Same thing, I had been a member for almost two years and had nothing but almost 200 positive reviews. I think have spent just over £3000 to date. They dont give you a reason and when you call them they have the information but just wont give you anything. I cant imagine what I could have possibly done to have my account access revoked like this. It makes me feel like a criminal, but the most annoying thing is that they just wont tell me why.

I have emailed them this morning but Im not expecting a reply. I too am going to do a SAR which will cost up to £10. It would be interesting to know who else this has happened to and what trade they belong to. I am a Heating Engineer.

Ive been led to beleive that Rated People have done this to certain trades(plumbers I think) before when they have awarded a contract to a big company who then takes all that work.

If this has happened to you as well then please leave your details and what trade you belong to. This just doesnt make any sense it bizarre.

All they ask for is a few bits of paperwork to proof your identity. Passport, utility bill, bank statement etc.

Same happened to me yesterday. First the phone call then emeil. I got my documents together and emailed them back. I got approved within the hour. All good ready to go.

So why is it so difficult for some people. They not even asking for qualifications coz if the did then 75% would be down on their asses crying.

Hi this has just happened to me. Received an email yesterday stating they were closing my account. I've emailed and phoned to ask why and had no answer whatsoever. I'm a roofer. Did you get anywhere with them?

Same happened to me 10days ago.
Emailed saying due to business validation my accound has been closed.
Spent in 4 years over £2500. 00
Accumulated 243 five star ratings and no more than 3 neutral ratings.
Was asked to be a... ask an expert...
Then this happened.
Ive emailed for reasons why my account was cancelled
No reply...
Ive phoned 3 times to ask why and the brain dead telephonists ( reading from cards) utter the same nonsense.
"We are not at liberty to disclose why youre account was cancelled it just is. "
