I am writing this after having used Zoom for over a month for work. Zoom has been a frustrating experience because of connectivity issues and after much frustration, I did a google search on Zoom. I have read many reviews discussing the pros and cons of Zoom and some are fairly serious, such as intentionally writing a backdoor program for Mac Zoom installs that would allow hackers to access a user's camera. There is no way this could have been done accidentally. And there were also lies about end-to-end encryption. There is no way this could have been told accidentally. PC Mag, however, simply finds excuses and glosses over these very serious issues.
I trusted PC Mag in the past, but my experience with Zoom in contrast to PC Mag's review of Zoom along with reviews from others about the bias PC Mag has towards its advertisers has made me realize Zoom should not be trusted.
