A friend recommended this site. At first I was skeptical. I signed up and had to admit that my friend was right. The site has allowed me to view my TransUnion and Equifax credit reports at no cost! Registration was easy and I was able to view my accounts and my credit score. The only negative is that the information listed is not as detailed as an actual credit report and Experian Credit Reporting is not listed on the site. Also, the site had links for consumers to view loan offers and the site seems to make money if a consumer is approved for one of the loan products. Seems like this could be a conflict of interest but the site does list a disclaimer that they receive money from loan companies listed in the links on the site. All in all I have found that the site is a good option to view a FREE copy of my TransUnion and Equifax credit reports. Also, I listed a link where consumers can receive a free copy of their credit report as authorized by federal law: www.annualcreditreport.com. Hope that helps everyone!

This site has been set up by the big three credit reporting agencies in the United States, to furnish free annual credit reports once a year. After you log onto the site click on "Request Yours Now!. Fill in the form to verify your information and follow the links to obtain your free credit report from each of the big 3 credit bureau. The site is easy to navigate, however, make sure to answer the security questions correctly. The website may have an option asking if you "owned a chevy in 1961 along with other challenge questions to verify that you are not a robot. If none of the options pertain to you just click none. ** IMPORTANT! Consumers are only allowed one free credit report per year from each credit bureau. Write down the date that request your credit reports so you can remember when you are able to request new credit reports next year... and the years after. ** TIP: It is easier to dispute credit issues after you obtain a credit file number. You can use the file number listed on your free credit report. *** WARNING! After making ten calls and writing 2 letters to TransUnion.com, the company has proven to be the worse agency when it comes to addressing customer issues. 1). The call center is not in the U.S. so there was a slight problem in understanding the call center agent and the agent's ability to understand U.S. English. I had to repeat account numbers several times and had to re-verify my information after being transferred to various departments. 2). In dealing with ten different agents, and supervisors, it is obvious that the staff is poorly trained. A simple problem of updating the account number of an existing credit card number based on the dispute letter I had submitted, resulted in TransUnion removing a 20 year account that caused my Credit Score to drop from 798 to 779.3). Managers and agents became defensive when I told them that TransUnion had caused the problem and one manager transferred me to a "ghost" extension after I asked to speak to his manager. 4). The SAD and SCARY thing is that several companies use data reported by TransUnion in their credit decisions. 5). When you Google TransUnion you will find similar complaints like" "Customer service is sooo horrible." "Worst credit reporting company ever!" 6). I purchased Credit Monitoring from all 3 Credit Reporting Agencies to monitor my credit, and fix any errors, for the mortgage that I plan to obtain in 2017 and TransUnion has consistently proven to be the worse company to deal with. Just filed a Better Business Bureau complaint # *******. Somehow this company linked their name to Expedia.com and created a mirror site that looks like Expedia. They answered the phone as if they were Expedia.com. I only became suspicious after the phone agent continued to ask me to re-verify information that was already in my Expedia.com profile. Expedia.com has never heard of this company. However, when I called my bank it appears that this company was somehow able to list charges on my credit card listing Expedia.com and Hotels.com as the originator of the charges. When I called the company to have the charge cancelled I reached someone in India. Now I have to cancel my credit card, create a dispute and wait up to 60 days to have the nearly $2,000 credited to my account. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR GIVE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM! I am taking the extra effort to file a Better Business Bureau complaint and send a letter to Expedia and Hotels.com. A Google search indicates the company lists a United States address of: P. O.
