I can honestly say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Donna Ashworth's self-published books of poetry spoke to me! Her words are so expressive, meaningful, compassionate, understanding and uplifting just an absolute pleasure to read! Ms. Ashworth's words are so thought-provoking and relatable that I found out more about myself than I knew. I have only read 2 out of 4 books of Donna Ashworth's poetry books entitled: "the right words when you need them most" and "to the women words to live by" which are absolutely incredible. Ms. Ashworth is from Scotland and sometimes getting her books takes longer than I would like but they are so worth it. If you should find yourself down, no confidence in yourself, feeling that you're not worthy well please pick up one of her books and you will be quite happy you did. There are just 2 books left that I haven't read. But given time and the fact that my daughter can get these two books while in Wales it means I won't be waiting forever. I guess I would label her work as a self-care kind of book. She makes you feel good about yourself and she is very carrying and "chatty" as one of her shirts says. If you get the opportunity to read her books they are so worth it.

Today we went in to book flights for my husband and daughter and we met a lovely, bubbly, informative client representative named Junelle Walsh. She had everything booked and taken care of before we knew it and we talked about a February vacation next year. She was a wealth of information and we felt very confident in her and will definitely go back when we are booking our winter vacay! I had the great pleasure of attending a meditation on letting go and happiness with Michelle Pierce Hamilton, BA, PMP, RHN Nutritionist & Certified Tea Sommelier, owner and operator of the Tea Lounge and beTeas.com as our instructor. When I first walked through the door an overwhelming calmness came upon me. It was the best feeling ever. The Tea Lounge is cozy, warm, comfortable and full of absolute positive vibes. There is an eclectic mix of everything, a vision for the eyes and the selection of tea is incomparable. Michelle is a soft-spoken, kind, compassionate woman who loves what she does but most of all loves her tea and boy does she know about it. She has so many different kinds of tea, from herbal, oolong, black, white I honestly cannot tell you how many but she picked out for me a black tea called Nandi Gold Black Tea and it was delicious. If you get the opportunity to find yourself at the Tea Lounge London then you are in for a treat. Her lunches, snacks, high teas, desserts plus all of the little knickknacks you see around the store is of excellent quality (tarot cards, Budda's, tea cups, teapots) Her classes are always filled. The Tea Lounge is a reflection of a lovely spiritual, compassionate woman who is willing to go the extra mile to make, brew or guide you in courses such as meditations, reiki to name a few. Being a tea "grannie" from away back I absolutely Highly Recommend visiting this lovely tea establishment. You will not be disappointed!

Teawithtracie, ca is a Luxury Tea Company out of Oakville, Ontario and is wholly Canadian. All of her products are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Fee, with No Artificial Flavours or Colours. Tracie is a Certified Tea Sommelier with the firm belief that "tea is liquid therapy. Not only does she sell tea, but she sells beautiful cups and saucers, cookies, socks, bookmarks, tea lunches to go and of course her wonderful teas. Tracie offers tea workshops as well. Should you decide to check out Tracie's web site I'm sure you will find and funny, honest, firecracker of a woman who knows her tea and loves everything about it.

At a young age, my grandmother introduced me to Twinings Loose Leaf tea and I've been hooked ever since. Twinings have been around in the UK for 300 or more years. Their loose-leaf tea comes in a tin with a plastic lid and once opened has a sealed foil covering. The particular brand I have is Darjeeling which has a lovely aroma and is wonderfully calming. Loose leaf tea needs to be covered and kept in a cool dry spot. If you cannot find the tea you are looking for you can order it from Twinings Canada. From one tea lover to another enjoy your cuppa!

Today I received my Samplesource selections and am quite thrilled about it because everything I'm receiving today I've never tried before. That's the best apart is trying before you buy you aren't out any money if you aren't happy with it.

I received Mudmasky Hair Mask, Scalp Treatment & Miracle Shampoo in mytherabox subscription. Mudmasky is a European company that produces several different products for hair, cleansers, facial masks, serums and moisturizers. Regarding hair, their products are free of parabens and sulphates. This is a PETA-certified company. The shampoo is safe for all hair types. When applying on wet hair you work from the roots down, massage your scalp for a minute before rinsing it off. It is supposed to repair and strengthen your hair and scalp and it's safe for everyday use. I have used this product twice a week for two weeks and can honestly say my hair and scalp feel fantastic. I would definitely recommend this product. If you have damaged hair, it would be amazing and if you have an itchy scalp or dandruff, it says it will clear that up too. Last week my hairdresser gave me a sample of Moroccanoil Curl Shampoo and Moroccanoil Curl Conditioner. She asked that I try it and give her my opinion as she thought it would be a good fit for me. I'm pretty anal about my hair but I figured I would give it ago. I noticed a tingling feeling washing my hair and then when I applied the condition. I washed out the conditioner almost right away. Well, I have sensitive skin but I thought it was only regarding my face. No, it is definitely not. Once I blew dried my hair my head was beginning of the dampness out of my hair, I was raring to go to breakfast. Well, my scalp started to drive me crazy and some little sores were on scalp. I had developed a rash and was definitely allergic to shampoo and conditioner. I really liked the shampoo and conditioner as my hair was shiny and soft, but the moral of this review is when trying something new, make sure you try them on a little patch of hair/skin so you aren't suffering for a week like I did!

The kids purchased my husband a seafoam coloured K-Mini coffeemaker for his birthday. It's absolutely perfect because it is a mini, therefore, it doesn't take up valuable space on our kitchen counter. Of course, the coffee tastes great!

I've been wearing bareMinerals for approximately 1 year now and I have to say I really like it! I chose bareMinerals products as it has a mineral base and therefore helps rather than hinders my sensitive skin. When applied bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Vanilla 02 goes on smoothly without the feeling of heaviness. Having Rosacea, I need the coverage Complexion Rescue gives me. I tend to apply 2 thin layers of Complexion Rescue and top it off with a dusting of bareMinerals Mineral Veil powder. BareMinerals Complexion Rescue has SPF30 coverage which again is good for your skin. Occasionally I have a breakout and have used bareMinerals Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Spot Concealer which has worked well for me. I know that the bareMinerals line can be more expensive but for me, it is worth it. Next time I plan to purchase a kit that I think will be more cost-effective. I definitely recommend bareMinerals, if only for the fact that it will not clog your pores.!

I was gifted a subscription box from MyTherabox and one of the many items in the box was Nuria Defend Overnight Recovery Cream with Seawood & Algae found along coastal Japan. I have been using it for a few days now and absolutely love it. My skin is so soft and looks brighter. A little goes a long way. It has a light refreshing scent which normally I would avoid because of my skin's sensitivity. I tested the product with a little patch of skin to see if I reacted to it but nope it was all good. Nuria Defend Overnight Recovery Cream is light, definitely not heavy, and makes my face feel cool and refreshed. I checked on Amazon.ca and a 50ml container goes for $48.00 CAD which may be expensive, but in all honesty, you really do not need a lot. I use about a dime's worth and it does my whole face and neck. I definitely recommend it!

I was gifted a Mystery Thera Box from a friend. Mystery boxes are, as they say, no one has any idea what is in them but you get 6-8 full-size items totalling approximately $200. I'm quite excited to see what comes in this particular box. This box is from the US and ships to Canada for $14.99.

I just happened to come upon the Poshmark.ca site and I just love it! You can get I swear almost anything from this site. I've purchased Guess purses (2), Robert Zur leather loafers, Happy Planner planners, stickers, books, necklaces and bracelets. Like everything you have to be careful about what you're buying, keeping in mind the price and of course the shipping, which can add up to costing you more than at a store. All my purchases have been on the Canadian site but you can buy off of the US site as well. Shipping is $13.49 + tax but if you watch for the weekend shipping can be anywhere from $4.99 - $9.99 depending on what you are purchasing. I usually receive the merchandise 10 days from anywhere in Canada. It's all delivered by Canada Post and they give you a tracking number. You pay upfront but should you not care for what you purchased you can send it back for a refund at no cost to yourself. I have never experienced a problem with any of my orders. I haven't tried selling anything but then again, I'm a shopper! I know they take a certain percentage off of what you sell. You can and I have bartered to get the price down or a lot of sellers will give you discounts if you create a bundle (2 or more items) from their closet. They have Posh Parties on select items. There is something for everyone (men, women, children, small sizes to plus sizes) but be careful it is incredibly addictive! My motto is it doesn't cost anything to look right? If you choose to check it out HAVE FUN!

I went to Posh Pedicure Lounge in London, Ontario and had the best pedicure I've ever had. Sara looked after me and she was amazing. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and very sensitive restless legs so I'm not the easiest client but let me tell you Sara ROCKS! I decided to have the works which are called a Posh Pedicure which includes foot soak, scrub, cuticles and clean up nails, callous removal, buff, hot towels on feet and calves, lotion, feet and calves' massage and then nail polish of your choice all for $65.00 + tip. It takes about 1hour. Sara was incredible because this was the very first time I hadn't been hurt! I was so relaxed and it went by so fast I couldn't have been more thrilled! They're just the 2 girls Sara and Samantha and they're so friendly, smiling very genuine professionals. I Highly Recommend Posh Pedicure Lounge for their excellent service!

I highly recommend Beck Hearing! Paula is so caring and listens to you and your needs. She goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with your chosen hearing aids and that they're doing the job for you. It's also very important to her that you understand how everything works and if you have a problem to call her straight away. She assures you that no problem is too small or too big. Beck Hearing is there for you. They are very client-driven. I honestly cannot imagine going anywhere else because when you go to leave you know you have been very well taken care of. Everyone in that office always greets you with a smile. The receptionist is so friendly and upbeat when she answers the phone or when you enter their office.

The Alex Desk from IKEA is perfect. I say this because it is exactly the right size to hold my PC, speakers, keyboard, mouse, CPU, and lamp with room to spare. The 2 drawers are huge and hold binders, books, pens, whatever you want. The is also a spot to put your wires away so they aren't all over the place. I chose black and we just got our daughter one and she chose a navy one. It was easy to put together with the instructions. My husband was quite happy about that. Shipping to our home was going to be ridiculously high so we had it shipped to their warehouse for only $29.00 for the desks and chair. The staff were so friendly and helpful. You booked your time but since they weren't busy, we went right away. I would highly recommend having it shipped to their warehouse and picking it up there. It's cheaper and easier. All in all, it was much better than travelling 2 hours to the store, shopping, paying the pickup fee of $5.00 and then driving back home.

We were away and I had run out of my usual styling spray so I went into Winners to see what I could find. Well, they had on display Mane Club NYC's One Hit Wonder and Wavy Baby. I purchased both of them at $9.99 each. I had never heard of them but they were the "newest thing". Following the directions on the bottle of One Hit Wonder, I sprayed sparingly, scrunched my hair and once dry, my hair was limp and stringy. Not happy, I washed my hair again and decided to try Wavy Baby which is a textured spray. I read the directions and applied accordingly, Once dried my hair was frizzy and bushy. I was not impressed! Once at home, I gave both another try with the same results. On a positive note, they were both easy to apply for but for me, that just wasn't good enough. Based on my experiences I cannot recommend either of them.

Formula 10. 0. 06 line works really well for my Rosacea and very sensitive skin. The cleansers I use: Best Face Forward Daily Foam Cleanser and So totally clean Deep Pore Cleanser and One smooth Operator really do what they say. My face feels clean and refreshed. Smooth operator I use once a week and the other 2 I use Best Face Everyday and So Totally Clean in shower. I love the moisturizer Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Moisturizer which keeps my oily skin mattified all day. The line is out of the US but I have purchased it at Rexall for under $11.00ea. Amazon it's more expensive. They have masks, other cleansers and such that I have not tried but IMO if they work have as good as the ones I've mentioned then it's a win win for your face. I only have receipt for So Totally Clean as naturally I unfortunately through out the receipts a while ago. You do not need a lot because it goes a long way.

Do you have natural curl, wavy hair that goes frizzy at the first sign of humidity? Ugh! Well I found this line of products and I cannot say enough great things about it. Th moisturizing shampoo, leave in conditioner, no tangles when I brush my hair after applying! No frizz! Woo hoo! My hair is so soft and shiny. Plus they have a curl activator, dream curl gel and an instant curl spray. I tend to use the dream curl gel and the spray as they work better for me when I am scrunching my hair and leave to dry. The curl activator I have used but I'm not as successful with it! As I have to fuss with it more and having osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia my hands do not work the best. I have only seen twisted sista products at Winners. It is reasonably priced there but if ordering off Amazon it can be quite pricey!
