I bought a Carolina Carport through Alan's Factory Outlet which was delivered and constructed on site Memorial Day weekend 2020. We left for the season in December 2020. By February 2021, I received pictures from our development manager of my collapsed carport. I contacted Alan's Factory Outlet and they eventually reimbursed me the deposit (the balance of the purchase price of $6300 went to Carolina Carport). Alan's contacted Carolina Carport, on my behalf, and was told there would be no monetary reimbursement due to the amount of snow that fell. Them, Carolina Carport, never having been to Breezewood Acres in Newfoundland, PA, made me suspect of their customer service policy AND not honoring their 1 year warranty. Keep in mind, it collapsed within 8 months. I contacted Carolina Carport this morning and was rudely dealt with by their representative. I also told her that we rode around the entire development and our carport was the only one that collapsed... making me think there was some type of defect of the carport. I sent pictures and hope to hear something from them.
