My wife took this online course for first aid/cpr certification for her job at a home care facility. Her employer agreed to accept an online training program. She passed with two errors (only 10 questions). I reviewed the test. Most of the questions are irrelevant to the training (broken blood vessels are defined as bruises?), ambiguous, and poorly worded.
Here's the first question she missed:
"To save an unconscious person who choked on an object you should do the Heimlich maneuver." the supposedly correct answer is false, yet the choking section says "when performing the Heimlich maneuver on an unconscious person lay the patient on his/her back..." it's still the heimlich maneuver when they're on their back.
Second question:
"C in C. A. B. Stands for chest compressions." they say this is false. The cpr section says "C is for Circulation Compressions," and the next lilne is "Chest Compressions." and they call this a wrong answer? What is this question actually testing that's of relevance to the training? Google "cab cpr" and see what the 'c' stands for.
This training was so lame i refused to let my wife pay for the certificate. She took another online course from newlifecpr.com. The training was much more rigorous, and testing more reflective of what you need know (40 multiple choice questions instead of 10 true/false).
Our advice is stay away from national cpr foundation and get training from a provider where you'll actually learn something.
I had a very poor experience with xe.com sending money to philippines. My account has been inactive for a couple of years. When i came back yesterday i got a pop up message that said 'oops, something went wrong. Please try again.' and then the same pop up after several tries. I logged off, came back later, and the new message was 'sorry, your account has been closed.' i wrote to customer service for an explanation, and this was the reply:

Dear ####,
Thank you for using Xe.
Unfortunately, we're unable to assist you further and your account, XEMT*******915 will remain closed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause... "
Now wasn't that was helpful?... Not!.
More to the story, my wife signed up with them for the first time tonight and had an identical experience.
Their advertised high exchange rates and low fees are a fraud. I suspect they are just fishing for personal information.
Stay far away from these guys and stick with a reputable company

i couldn't complete a money transfer, and neither could my wife, so we didn't end up using anything; but xe.com now has our personal information, and that bothers me a lot.
We bought a 'tory burch' purse last month from dywse.com for what appeared to be a killer deal. Dywse shipped to us a different and really ugly 'tory burch' purse and sandals, and overcharged our credit card by a couple of bucks. Items were shipped from asia and smashed together in a tightly wrapped package.
I strongly believe the purse and sandals are knock offs.
In several e-mail exchanges, they refused to take the items back and pay for shipping, or give us a refund. They put a lot of pressure on us to keep the junk items and compensate us with coupons for future purchases. They were completely tone-deaf to our demands.
I opened a dispute with our credit card company, synchrony bank. They gave us a full refund, but i don't know if they were able to recover anything from dywse.
Stay as far away from dywse as possible. They're not a legitimate company but a scam operation selling knock-offs. You've been warned!
Update:
A brand new replacement pump arrived this morning, as promised (2 day delivery). My 2-3 experiences ordering from vminnovations have all been positive, and i won't hesitate to order from them again.
Tip for consumers:
don't believe all the negative reviews
Wow, i'm not understanding all the negative reviews here. It sure doesn't apply to my experience with vminnovations.
I bought a pond pump 3-4 years ago that has a 5-year warranty. Cost about 90 bucks. It failed last year and i called vminnovations for a replacement. Their communications were prompt and detailed. They honored the warranty and had a replacement shipped to me right away at no cost, even before the old one was returned. Sure, i had to pay shipping to return the old one, but big deal, it beats having to buy a new one.
So, two days ago the replacement failed again after one year in service (pump runs 24/7/365), but it's still under warranty. I wrote to customer service with photos of the damaged unit. They responded immediately with an rma. I dropped it off at fedex this morning and sent a copy of the tracking receipt to them. They responded within minutes promising to get a replacement unit shipped out tomorrow morning.
These guys are first rate in my book and i will definitely buy from them again. I will modify this review if anything ever happens to change that assessment.
Promo codes never work, and customer service stinks. There's an impenetrable firewall between you and the humans at world remit. No chat function, no email contact, and the phone number has a plus "one hour ## seconds" wait before someone answers. Been on hold for 24 minutes and 47 seconds and the wait time is increasing! I'm done with these idiots.

gonna try remitly instead of these fools
So so phones, so so connectivity, horrible customer service. I had a distinct sense that i was being shined on when i was talking to customer service. Also been disconnected or hung up on twice while trying to contact these people. I'd say stay away from this company.
Mind balance wellness may be a legitimate site, but their advertising on facebook is highly misleading. They post photos on facebook of a pallet of instapots in walmart with $10 or so sale price. I understand they also advertise super low prices for iphones, ipads, ps5's etc. you take a short meaningless survey and give them your credit card information. Note that nowhere in their post does 'mindbalancewellness' appear. You find out later when no instapot arrives and you see your credit card has been billed for a subscription to whatever new age pop psychology service they offer, something we didn't order, didn't want, and didn't use. I called customer service but they refused to give a refund. Overall this is a very deceptive, dishonest and disreputable business. I recommend you steer clear of them.

Empty.
If there is a means, I wouldn't even give any star at all. Been skeptical to use this so called...
I've used Remitly, MoneyGram, Western Union, PayPal, XE all are brilliant compared to WorldRemit...
