There are a lot of hosting sites out there. They succeed or fail by being reliable platforms for peoples views and opinions without jading the input or censoring the output. It is their reliability as a forum that makes them useful. Imagine the Roman Forum policed by guys with truncheons?
Disqus has failed in this basic requirement. It skews what you can see and censors what is provided.

I decided to make the big plunge and leave Wordpress.com to make my book site look/respond better on mobile devices. I listened to the siren call of Mopro and have been sorry ever since.
One of its greatest deficiencies is its revolving personnel who apparently are good at reading "scripts" but bad on comprehension. I had a working site which I asked them to duplicate. After a year large portions of it are still missing.
I expended huge amounts of time, again and again, to outline the architecture of the site, only to have the product not only fail to function but fail to look as good as what I could do myself. After eight months Mopro went silent for two month, despite pleas and threats, only to resurface in a new physical location and a new CEO. Nothing suspicious there. I jumped ship at the end of the year and had a working site with Optuno within a month.
Stay away from Mopro.

This purports to be a clearinghouse for entrepreneurs. I am sure that is like herding cats. Nevertheless, you can do that honorably or otherwise. The site is almost hermetically sealed. You cannot get support unless you dodge and weave among the allowed options. A PROPOSED gig, sent to be reviewed by the great and powerful FIVE, if it fails to meet spec, GAINS YOU YOUR ACCOUNT DISABLED AND A WARNING OF BANISHMENT. You would think these guys are standing at the gate, fending off the barbarians from the very doors of righteousness. The responses I got were superficial, having never read my complaint to begin with. Arrogance on a stick

This is the elephant in the room.
Whatever Amazon does immediately becomes the market standard. They are particularly cruel to authors, eliminating their input on their own products and reaping whatever benefits may come

This like so many sites is really run, not by its "moderators" but by the readers who are mostly liberal to leftist wing nuts.
Any question which is answered too accurately can be reported for any number of amorphous criteria, "collapsing' the answers (blocking them) and warning the too-candid writer that he will be banned.
It has the desired effect.
