This is because we are not looking at the screen directly, but indirectly at the reflection of the wall. Therefore, I think it is a more family-friendly option. This entry-level projector offers good contrast handling. The color palette is nuanced. The image is big, bright, but does not hurt my eyes. I do not need to get a projector screen. I actually project the image on a plain wall. There is no delay in data transmission, which is an appealing feature to a video game player. The built-in speaker is clear. I can hear the fan constantly running. The fan is a little noisy, but it keeps the projector from being warm. Other projectors in this price range responded to remote control slowerly and I needed to point the remote directly at the projector, but this one does not require that.
