I've been an audiobook publisher on Audible for a while. They have withheld royalties, given inaccurate numbers, lied about promo codes, mercilessly closed down accounts, refused payments, and done everything a multibillion dollar corporation should NOT be getting away with when exploiting the publishers who provide the content for their website. When you know this, do you really want to give these scumbags your money? I'm not the only one. Thousands of authors and narrators have the same complaints: ACX/Audible behaves like a cruel dictator, abusing their near-monopoly position.

Tip for consumers:
Evil, stealing, exploitative corporation. I've lost all respect for them.

My wife accidentally pressed the "buy" button on her phone. That's it. The sale was final. She contacted them literally 30 seconds later to undo the purchase. That case has been lingering for 3 weeks now. Paypal wouldn't help us, Groupon wouldn't help us. An accidental click of the button turned into a 100+ dollar loss because those scammers had a "no refund" policy. It was as if you're in the store and you put back something expensive you just took of the shelf because you changed your mind and the person running the store telling you. "Nope. We've got your money now. No refunds." We didn't even intentionally buy it. 30 day money back is okay. 30 seconds no money back is ridiculous. What a piece of trash company. Come on, man. Attached the images from the rude conversation she experienced while she was trying to undo an accidental tap on her phone.

Let me be short and not waste your time. This is what's wrong with Coinbase:

- 4% fee with every bank purchase of crypto. So, you immediately are at a high loss.
- No customer support on the phone. I wonder why. Maybe because there are too many complaints and they couldn't handle them if they were actually to listen to their customers, who are investing their hard-earned money.
- When you buy something it takes 5 business days for the money to be available to send to a wallet. This means you could miss out on hundreds or thousands of dollars in staking rewards, just because Coinbase's system is so slow.
- Let's say you see the price drop of your favorite crypto, you have 12k in your bank account and you think, "If I buy it now, I'll get it at a good price." You try to buy at the dip for 3k dollars, and uhhm... Coinbase claims that you have "insufficient funds" in your bank account. This hasn't happened once, but a number of times, forcing me to try again later, when the price already spiked.

The sad thing is, many other brokers aren't that much better. This is the crap we get stuck with. Not only are you already taking a risk investing in crypto, but now you have to put up with their clunky glitches and slow systems, hoping that you can get what they claim you are able to, inconsistently getting frustrated because a purchase doesn't go through or sending is delayed. Coinbase has probably made millions of customers lose or lose out on billions of dollars because of this garbage. Fix your problems, Coinbase!

Tip for consumers:
This site sucks, but I honestly can't think of a better one. That's the saddest part.

This company will never take your side. We ordered some Xbox One S-es for over 1,000 dollars. When we pointed out in what kind of garbage state they were, they took 2 weeks to get back to us, simply showing us the "terms we signed" with a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo that we agreed to buying "as is." Well, that's very nice, but if the state in which the products are, are misrepresented, then it's a scam! The pictures were vague, and one piece of technology was so bent that it seemed like someone had driven over it or beat it up with a baseball bat. When they refused to refund us, we went through the credit card company. They kept fighting it, and now we are left with the junk and the credit card company wouldn't even take our side either. This company is so dishonest. But why doesn't that surprise me, knowing that they work with Amazon? Better to avoid them. That's my advice, and that's why I'm writing this complaint: Because there is nothing else I can do to get our money back and the world needs to know how we got conned.
