I had purchased a Toshiba 620 DVD/VHS Recorder. It arrived filthy, completely unusable and broken. I contacted Amazon and they gave me the go ahead to return it to the seller for a full refund. I also contacted Ace Internet Solutions, Inc. and was assured that I would receive a refund in full, which included the return shipping that I had to pay for out of my own pocket. For some unknown reason, Amazon refused to give me the refund that I am entitled to. I contacted Amazon via email several times and by phone as well. Amazon's Customer Service agreed that since I have proof that this piece of garbage is in Ace's possession along with my money - $152.00, that I am indeed entitled to a full refund. Instead, Amazon sent me an email stating that they were not going to give me a refund. I contacted Ace many time, was repeatedly promised a refund and never received anything. I reported Ace to the BBB, the USPS Mail Order Fraud Dept. and several other consumer fraud organizations. Of course, Ace did not respond to anyone. And I am out $152.00 and no merchandise. I'm going to continue to report Ace and Amazon for mail order fraud to every organization that deals with this. I may never see my money, but I can make things miserable for both and perhaps prevent someone else from this nasty situation.
