I contacted home advisor after seeing an advertisement on TV that they select only the best contractors, to help you solve any issues that you may have needed to be fixed, repaired, painted. Ect. I decided to call when I needed some plasterwork done, Went online to their site, thought it was going to be simple explain the issue I have and they would send me a selection of verified companies to come out and do the work so I thought I was not gonna have an issue or a problem and if I did they would take care of it, went online to their site, thought it was going to be simple explain the issue I have and they would send me a selection of verified companies to come out and do the work so I thought I was not gonna have an issue or problem and if I did they would take care of it, that is so not what happened that was so not to be expected. I ended up calling a place called Garcia drywall to come out and fix some water damage in my ceiling, that was my actual request need repair of ceiling from water damage. He came out to check out the damage that need to be repaired, he also noticed I had two smaller holes in the wall in the stairwell, from when my mom had gotten sick and we had to bring her down on a stretcher, and offered to fix those two small holes as well as do the water damage repair, to make a very long long story short, he offered to do the job for $250, Aaron to come out the next day and do that repair, as he was showing up the next day, I was on my way out to the hospital, I turned on the hallway light to show him exactly what needed to be repaired the water damage, and he showed me the two holes that he was also the repair of the stairwell we agreed I gave my daughter the money to hold, while he did the repair when he was done he took the money and he left. When I called my daughter because I was admitted into the hospital, she told me that he had completed the work, she sent me a picture of a light fixture where he had taken it completely out, and literally left too hot wires hanging out of my ceiling, I immediately had somebody come and put safety screws on those and we did a couple days I assumed because it was drywall it did have to drive before he could put that light fixture back due to there being no light fixture there I was unable to see in the picture that not all of the water damage was fixed it was only repaired around the light fixture, To my surprise I called him back a few days later cause he never called me and I said are you planning on coming out in a couple of days to replace the light fixture, he said no, that for extra money he would go and come back out and replace the light fixture but I had to go buy a brand new one because that one was no good, whats wrong with this problem is the fact that, one, he never told me the light fixture was not any good because I turned on the light to show him the problem, to my surprise I called him back a few days later because he never called me and I said are you planning on coming out in a couple of days to replace the light fixture, he said no, that for extra money he would go and come back out and replace the light fixture but I had to go buy a brand new one because that was no good, whats wrong with this problem is the fact that, one, he never told me the light fixture was not any good because I turned on the light to show him the problem to 2, At any time during his stay here to make the repair he had every single advantage to talk to my daughter or my knees to let them know he call your mom let her know this light fixture is no good Im going to take it completely out, 3, he wanted to charge me more money for something he did without asking to do and left me with a possible fire hazard. I called the company home advisor, to complain and tell them what had happened, a couple of times I was told they would have somebody come out and repair the damage that he had made, and then they turn around sorry were not responsible we cant make him do anything, that is such garbage really though, he called me and threatened me and told me I needed to take his bad review off, and give him five stars, I told him that wasnt going to happen, even if he did come back out and Fix it, I would re-write the review but until then it would stay the same he came out he did more than he was asked to and then try to charge me for something I never asked to be fixed that was never broken, home advisor literally turn their back on me and did nothing, dont guarantee what youre not gonna come through on this company sucks I wouldnt go there I wouldnt advise it I would not recommend it

As a Christmas gift to my daughter and her family I flew them from out of town to San Jose California, because they wanted to be at the 49er game on Christmas Eve we purchased these tickets from stub hub three months ago, today which is 20th December they decide to text u as a Christmas gift to my daughter and her family I flew them from out of town to San Jose California, because they wanted to be at the 49er game on Christmas Eve we purchased these tickets from stub hub three months ago, today which is 20th December they decide to email us and tell us that the fire pulled out, and we no longer had tickets for this game, I was very upset, and I said how could you guys do this just a couple of days before the game, there fixed to the situation was to give us 20 percent off our next ticket sale, really did you really think I was going to go through with giving you guys more money after you guys pull this, not only was it crappy tickets, we had tickets in a really good section really close to the field their option was nosebleed tickets way up high, at $120.00 each, Being so close to the game, I am very disappointed, we already had our tailgate party planned other people had already bought him tickets to join us at the game, this really sucks I will never go through their site again I cannot believe such disrespect for a customer, your site really really sucks it would never ever come out of my mouth as a recommendation to anybody

Worst company ever, my daughter just started her first year in college, and since I've been to college a lot of things have changed, she needed a math book for her class, she was recommended to this site to save, about $120 on the cost of the book, she's trying to do this on her own, without any help, she ordered a book from this website, and just to be very clear, on the website it shows a very clear picture of the book, as well as the name the edition and everything else, so she placed this order, hoping the book would get here quickly, and it did but to her disappointment, the book was The wrong book, we attempted to contact the company, only to find out there is no phone contact or phone number for this company everything has to be done by email so I contacted this company several times through email letting them know if they could please send me a return label to send this book back as soon as possible, and if they could please send the book that she originally ordered, I got a email back stating go ahead and send us the book back and is soon as you send us the tracking number from that return the book we will issue you a full refund, I went back-and-forth with them several times for almost a week and a half, letting them know that I did not feel I should have to pay shipping and handling fee to get it sent to me, and then turn around and pay the shipping fee of $13.99 to send it back to them due to their mistake, all I kept getting was emails, saying the same thing over and over to send the book back and will issue a full refund, I went through my bank I let them know, that I do have the book in my possession, it is the wrong book I sent them copies of all the emails of me trying to resolve the issue and the problem, thank you to my bank for reversing the charges and opening up a claim because I did try to resolve it, in a very mature fashion, unlike the company itself, not even telling me if they have the right book in stock, just be very rude about their comments, so the last email I sent them, was that I took care of the charges with my bank, they would be reversing my charges for the amount of the book shipping and handling fee, they were more than welcome to send me a return label and I will gladly send them back their book, but there was no way I was going to pay them to send back a mistake they sent me, these are college students trying to start on the right path, this is the worst way to be as a company, they truly sucked in the whole experience, I wish I could give them a 0+ rating because that's exactly what they deserve

Placed an order with this company back in early December, they supposedly have an online chat that is never open they don't have a phone number they always tell you to put a ticket in and send you some stupid $#*! response that makes no sense and answers no questions they don't give you a tracking number, I have put in several tickets to get a tracking number and have not been given one I am having my bank reverse the charges this company sucks and I will never order from them again 1 star is giving them way too much of a rating/ so it's been about a week or longer since I first wrote this update, very disappointed even more in this company now, thank you site jabber for posting my review for everybody to see, the company did see it, and posted an apologetic reply, which was all Garbage, they responded to me by email saying they were going to give me an immediate refund all I had to do was click on the link they provided, which I was not able to click on, I tried putting it in manually, it still did not work I was also told In and Email that I could go to my account in the same information and Link would be provided for me there, also a lie, this company is based on pure BS, they do not provide any tracking information, they do not give you No reliable or satisfactory information when they contact you back, it's constantly put in a ticket and we will get back to you, and their response when they get back to you is always the same thing, be patient it's on its way, and that is it, I have not received my product, along with a lot of other people that haven't received theirs, they don't even try to rectify the problem, they just keep creating more of an issue for themselves, this business is better off closed then open
