I booked a hotel room in Punta Cana in February 2020. Upon booking I was sure, that I was dealing with a hotel website. It turned out though, that it was actually a Getaroom booking website. Upon booking I was charged with additional service and tax costs, which were not mentioned in the system upon booking. I then decided to cancel my reservation. Initially Getaroom Customer Care and Escalations service refused to cancel the booking. But recently I have got the full refund of my reservation for which I am thankful to Getaroom.
