As the base software is concerned, I find that Movavi is a great value. I have also had an interaction with their customer support team, and had no issues.
Customer Support: I reached out to them because I purchased the Plus version thinking I did not need the features of the Video Suite. After a few weeks, I decided that I wanted to do Screen Capture (which requires the suite). I reached out to see if they would allow me to upgrade by only paying the difference in the initial purchase. They responded in less than 4 hours, allowing me to do just that, with no hassles. The representative was courteous and professional. I cannot speak for the technical team, as I have had no issues with crashing or functionality after a month of use.
Software: As someone who is new to video editing (virtually NO experience), I find the software to be quite intuitive and easy to use. Once you learn the basics, you can do some really neat things. I was able to produce a video that everyone in my organization says looks very professional.
Where I take issue with Movavi, is their incessant pricing strategy. I refer to their software as a depreciating asset, because in order to expand your collection of themes you pay an exorbitant premium. A simple theme pack (which includes a few backgrounds, stickers, and transitions) will set you back between $10 and $40. So if you purchase a few themes, the software price suddenly goes from entry level to semi-professional.
They do give you the option to subscribe to ALL the themes for $99/annually, however, again this adds up quickly. Plus, what happens when you want to refresh a video made a month before the subscription expired using multiple themes? You are stuck either purchasing the themes or having to redo everything with the basics.
If you wish to learn the basics of video editing and create some great videos using their basic tools, this is a great choice (for Windows). It is also a solid solution if you are trying to create some semi-professional videos but lack the funds to buy professional software. However, over time this software can add up to over $1000 (if you buy all their themes). If they change the basic business model this could be an amazing product.
