Everyone be aware! Especially people who are looking to invest in the latest craze of cryptocurrency mining. Many of you are looking for graphics/video cards and will surely stumble across websites and seller who claim to have them in stock at very competitive prices! Practice the good old saying, Íf its too good to be true, it probably is!' I stumbled across two of these sellers today alone. One was a seller on eBay, for which eBay emailed me right away that someone had compromised the seller's account. Second was this website, http://productoseuro.com/. A person by the name of Mr. Oscar Sanchez Hernandezs emailed me asking if I was looking for video cards. I am not sure how exactly he got my email address. A good practice for everyone is to always check the website record. Just Google it! If nothing comes up, for example, for this website, use a WHOIS lookup service like whois.icann.org to check the details of the company. This particular company has their information hidden (which was the first red flag) but the major red flag was something that cannot be hidden, the date the website was created! This website came into existent only 2 months ago and among the random things they have for sale online, they just happen to carry video cards! Be smart, and protect yourself! Go through an established business, eBay where a seller offers PayPal, or in person transactions! Anyone that asks for bank transfers or money transfer services like western union is a scammer until proven otherwise! Btw, Mr. Oscar Sanchez Hernandezs only accepts payment through bank transfers. I just thought I'd remind myself and everyone else about the realities of our generation.
