Update to this review about ebay. I successfully received my full refund from PAYPAL. Ebay sees much less of my money.

MONEY BACK POLICY MISLEADING ON EBAY

Below you will see my ebay correspondence after purchasing items from a seller. The seller it seems posted a package to the wrong address and had the package returned to him/her. The seller then used this tracking number to inform ebay that he/she did post the item and had a tracking number. When I contacted the courier I was given a reference number for the case showing that the package was returned to the seller and signed as having been received by the seller and not me (the recipient). I provided all of this information to ebay who ruled in favour of the seller, ignored repeatedly the evidence I provided to them, and added insult to injury by removing my negative feedback from the sellers Ebay page. To date I am out of my money, with no product and no access to the money back guarantee EBAY advertises on their site. Further they have even removed the transaction from my account HISTORY. Thank goodness I have screen shots of it. EBAY IS ENABLING BANDITS AND ENGAGING IN UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY TOWARD CUSTOMERS. Below is the most recent correspondence from them:

Not only have you (EBAY):
1. Enabled a thief on your market place by refusing to refund me my money on your money back guarantee policy since I provided proof to you that the seller has the goods in his possession and also refused to refund or reship the goods but you
2. Removed my negative customer feedback without just cause and thus muted me as a customer with the right to give feedback on my experience and further
3. You removed the purchase transaction from my EBAY purchase history located in my 'private ' account

All of the above is tantamount to unlawful and unfair trade practices. As a result I have put my review including all details and copies of ebay documents on a global review page so that the world can see what EBAY.UK 's policy is to customers and EBAYS FALSE ADVERTISING OF THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE to lure unsuspecting customers into a feeling of trust.

YOUR RESPONSE TO ME IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNLAWFUL!

I tried again to contact ebay to right their wrong via messages from my account page and via telephone - they ran me around from one operator to the next until the final one hung up the phone. It seems to me that ebay's policy is to protect the sellers who bring them business thus the 'money back policy' they advertise is just there to entice customers into a false sense of safety. I told them that I would blog them - it didn't seem to bother them much.

So I took it a step further by putting in a complaint on my PAYPAL and escalated the matter immediately since I had tried communicating with the seller and ebay. The evidence is clear that the ebay seller is a thief and has probably scammed various people with this same tactic. I also learned that a number of them post empty boxes to your home so that they can show a tracking number and delivery + receipt by the customer. Bunch of scam artist they are. Nevertheless my claim with paypal went through and i PROVIDED ALL THE EVIDENCE TO PROVE MY CASE which was also sent to ebay- who ignored it. PAYPAL RULED IN MY FAVOUR. Will update when I actually receive the funds in my account.

THE EBAY BANDIT listed as living in Blackpool UK - a depressed seaside town - saw this review and attempted to spam my facebook business page with unintelligible and offensive language. Its amazing the extent people will go to steal other people's money. To you BURNSFESTIVALFUNFAIR - ( and you are lucky I haven't put your real name because I have that too) these are my final words:-

So as you can see from the thread Sammy Dress has written to say they will solve the problem.Up to today the products I purchased off Sammy Dress have never been received and NONE of the money paid has ever been refunded.

We are in 2018 and I will continue updates on this every year until it is solved.

UPDATE:
THREE YEARS AFTER i SPENT CLOSE TO US $200 ON THEIR SITESammy dress continues to say that they are resolving the issue and would refund me but has never done so. BUNCH OF THIEVES.

I was at a FB FOCUA GROUP in London and encountered another lady who was also scammed by SAMMYDRESS. She spent over US600.00 and got absoloutely nothing. She spent days calling their phone which they never answered.

Here is the lates correspondence they sent to my sitejabberinbox:
You disgusting thieves - I will continue to blog you until I receive my US$177.84 I spent on your bogus site and received no goods!

Below has been my correspondence with Sammydress for items I purchased on their site since 2013. To date (4/6/15) I have never received any product or my money back. I spent $US166.54. At first they kept telling that my items were shipped and to wait to receive them. Well its been 2 years and counting. I don't know what kind of mail service they have in China but I am pretty sure this is a scam. It seems they give random people gifts of clothing to post good reviews for them when in reality they are scammers. Customers BEWARE. It seems that Sammy Dress takes pleasure in this scam that you are running. In the civilized Western world if you offer a product to a customer, charge their credit card for it and do not provided them with that product or service and keep their money it is considered a crime. It can be called theft, larceny whatever. To further add insult to this crime you continue to respond to the customer in such a way that you fall short on repaying what is owed to that customer time and time again - that is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I demand my full refund that I paid to Sammy Dress. I did not pay Sammy Dress 41.74 but US$166.54 and I expect to recover every cent of my money. You provided no product, no mail service but just pictures and your claim that you paid for shipping of products which could be imaginary as far as I am concerned. You continue to claim that you issued a refund of 87.48 which can easily be verified. If that is accepted as truth then it means you still owe me 87.48 and not 41.74. I made this purchase from SammyDress since 2013 and we are now in 2015 and your company still wont do the correct thing. I will continue to blog your bad service until I am recompensed.

I shopped there for my daughter. Items were as seen however packaging was disasterous to my bank account mainly because I was using a skybox courier to ship to my country. Packages where shipped separately and there was no option to consolidate. Other than that no complaints.

Paid GBP 230.00 to this company for a mattress.

MATTRESS is super packed in the middle and soft on the head and foot end so you feel as though you are sleeping on a slope. Two months and mattress is coming apart at the seems. Material is thin and tearing. Will not recommend this product or seller.

Bought this off Amazon after reading reviews. Got a delivery date - did not come. Got a second delivery date - did not come. Got a third deliver date - did not come. Got a fourth delivery date- mattress arrived with a diminutive driver with a bad attitude and no one to offload. Driver asks my wife to help him offload the super king sized mattress (super thick and heavy) Wife complies - no choice in the matter really. Driver shoves mattress into the apartment causing destruction of two valuable items of our property, shrugs his shoulders and walks away.

Contact seller who refuses to compensate and blames on third party delivery service who also refuses to accept responsibility because seller tries to save costs and does not disclose its a heavy item and needs two loaders. Report to Amazon, they also refuse to resolve saying that its a third party seller. So it seems the UK has a lot of third party but no first part - they all want your money and are unwilling to do their job the right way or take responsibility when they mess up. TOTALLY DISGUSTED.

Been back and forth on this for two months with Amazon, the seller and the third party delivery service - no resolve.
