I ordered a sofa for $500. According to the initial transaction delivery was free. After I reviewed the order I realized I entered the wrong delivery address. I emailed them but the response was I had to call. So I called. After an hour wait on hold, I finally reached a person to change the address but was charged $30 to do that. I wasn't happy about it, but figured it was my mistake.

A week later I got a text asking me to call the company to confirm delivery address. When I called they told me I HAD to get fabric protection because after 6 months it would fade. Fabric protection would cost $199. Figuring it was just another gimmick to add to cost, I said no. Then I was informed my delivery was $139- Remember, on the website it said free delivery and on the initial order it was free- I agreed to pay it. I knew I should have said no, but I didn't.

After we finished the phone call I realized my $500 sofa was now up to $669. I got on Better Business Bureau and found out this is the way they do business. Of course you can cancel. If you do it within 24 hours of the order... But remember, I didn't find out about the $139 delivery charge until 7 days after the initial order. I also found out that if your furniture is damaged they may or may not be bothered with repairing it. Did I mention the cancellation fee would be $300?

So I call my credit card company. Basically since I waited 7 days to cancel they would be willing to dispute the transaction but there is no guarantee I will get the $300. Either I pay an extra $139 to get the couch delivered or I pay $300 to cancel the couch.
