9/14/17

The workers at the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency are some of the laziest workers ever! My case with child support has been neglected on numerous occasions and nothing is being done about it. My son's father is nearly $6,000 behind in his support obligations and - although there were numerous occasions whereas the money could have been collected - it was not due to CSEA's neglect.

There are laws in Ohio that an employer should have followed and they did not. However, CSEA had sufficient time to investigate this matter to ensure the past due debt would be collected from the obligor's worker's compensation claim and they did not. Although I've complained to CSEA for five months about my son's father's potential to collect worker's compensation benefits, he was awarded a lum sum check just recently and was told on 9/12/17 that they (CSEA) "just missed it".

This is inexcusable! I've been complaining about this for five months and was ensured any past due support would be collected! On 5/19 I was told, "if a father is expecting a Lump Sum the employer will contact us about any arrears". On 6/22 I was told, "they have the order and have already notified us they will honor it once he starts to receive attachable income from them be it a lump sum or periodic payments, there is no need to call them again." On 8/7 I was told, "Please be advised that there is currently no income source for the obligor at this time. As previously advised wage attachments have been issued in case the obligor is approved for any unemployment / workers comp benefits." On 8/22 I was advised, "Please be advised that there is still no new income at this time for him. We will contact him to see when he is expected return to work." And on 8/25, "We have requested additional information regarding his time off from work. Wage attachments are in place with Worker's Comp, and Unemployment in case (anonymous) is approved for any benefits. It has also been verified from his union that he is not receiving any income, or any work assignements from them at this time due to medical leave."

And in SEPTEMBER OF 2017 HE COLLECTED HIS FULL LUMP SUM. Find people who know how to do their job and get a new director!
