After making a purchase of a "what was clearly an Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen, 2021 release) | HD smart display which in the description stated "and 13 MP camera | Glacier White Brand new" for $93 I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. That was until I received a small little package which in no way could be what could possibly be an Echo 8 which is pretty large. Turned out the seller was selling a stand not an Echo Show and actually had pics of the box of the stand which is very difficult to tell the difference unless you look closely.

During this time Amazon was running a special and thank goodness I decided to purchase several just in case as I never dealt with Mercari yet. 8 hours later I received my purchase from Amazon. It took nearly 8 days before I received my purchase from the seller on Mercari. Their policy gives the seller up to 3 days to ship but somehow this seller pushed it further yet managed to used FedEx and got to me from a state away taking 5 incredibly long days. Most likely the ticket was printed but was never dropped off - whatever.

Okay, so now I received this small package - "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!?" I immediately wrote Mercari. From the get go I realized this process was going to be insanely difficult to prove even though the listing was "CLEARLY WRONG!". I had to take 6 pictures and upload them with a description of what was wrong. Now I'm sorry, but what if I was a "non-techy-type" person usually of the elderly type who hasn't a clue how to do this! THIS IS JUST WRONG! After I did this, there was a series of emails going back and forth to Mercari which I won't go into detail here but to say the least were simply infuriating. BTW, during all this time, there was absolutely no word from the seller! Ya think Mercari might have said something like, "Okay, we haven't heard from them so we have awarded in your favor blah blah blah..." but no!
Okay so now here we are roughly 10 days after opening my case, I finally get resolution in my favor but not without A LOT OF EFFORT!. Most people would simply drop it. But hey I'm talking about $93!

So I am now awarded my "WINNINGS" HA! And am told I shall receive my money in about 5 to 10 days - OMG! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
Luckily I actually got my money within a few minutes so thank goodness there. Perhaps it was because it was American Express, who knows.

But now here's another kicker. I was told not to leave any feedback during this process otherwise it would close the case and I wouldn't get my money back. So I waited like a good little boy and did what I was told...So now that they asked me to close the case when I got the money, I actually could not go back to rate the seller! So now this "seller" of nefarious ways is still out there with a 100% rating doing whatever the heck he wants to do without ever having lifted a finger. Oh and BTW, I had to send him his item back, so now he gets to try and sell it AGAIN!
I'll never buy on here again, but I will try and join in the fun of selling without rules...
This is truly a Buyer Beware Site!

Tip for consumers:
Never rush to buy from this site! Check and recheck Amazon and eBay and then before you buy check again! Never let your gut take over. Use your brain and keep shopping. Remember who is selling, people who are trying to make money. They're not going to give away anything because if they were they would donate it to charity...

Of course they would blame the team of Sitejabber themselves. This is the mentality of Swordskingdom. Rather than try to be on the positive side of customer service, their answer is to defend themselves rather than try to help. Yes, I received their request for information to "identify" myself. However, this is a case where I'd rather not get into it with them as it took me years to get over this injury. The very last thing I want to do is to open those wounds. I wrote this review for others to be very careful dealing with them. Individuals buying one or two items can be very happy, but do not, I repeat, do not, purchase wholesale lots from them! They will send you every piece of garbage they have...

Tip for consumers:
Again, those making individual purchases, buying from SK may be satisfactory. However, when buying in bulk, SK has no clue as to how to handle material nor do they know how to manufacture in quantity with quality. They have no problem sending you all their mistakes. These are just some photos out of the hundreds taken.

I put my trust and money with SK becoming a USA distributor for them. I purchased over 500 swords after the initial few sample orders. What I ended up receiving was nothing but junk! It has taken me years to sell off these swords after investing hundreds of hours to repair them. It has been a great learning experience on how to make blades look good, however, the pain of it all was not worth it. I even got suckered into shipping product on my dime for sales they made with the promise I would get replacements on the next order. They even stole my design work such as the Legend of The Seeker sword, He-Man and even The Sword of Griffindor. Just stay away and buy from trusted sources.

This Review is totally fake and most probably, the review is left by the Site Jabber team itself.
We asked the reviewer to provide anything that proves he's done shopping with us (order number, invoice, order confirmation email, tracking ID, receipt etc) but the reviewer doesn't have anything. Its a shame how this site is reviewing small businesses and many large corporate in order to bait them in and buy their premium subscription for resolving such fake reviews.
