I set up my sims account 5 years ago and have always remained signed in and updated. I tried to download content from the official site instead of TheSimsResources but was extremely frustrated. It made me set up a whole new account and told me I didnt have a game (which obviously wasnt true). I tried to change my password to my usual account but everytime I clicked I forgot my password it sent me to EAs official homepage. I typed in my email just like on Sims3.com and i clicked I forgot my password and a little box popped up saying it was going to close this tab. I ended up right back where I started. It send you in a contious loop. When I tried to download a piece of content, it told me I wasnt registered and needed to put in my game code from 5 years ago. I typed it on there times perfectly and it said that I didnt need to register and that I was already logged in and signed up. Like I said, it sends you in a continuous loop and you end up where you started. I went on the Help page and found that the set up was awful. It gives you little information and is unhelpful. No service, no way to email someone at EA. I was extremely frustrated and the entire experience took me an hour. Ill say it again, awful setup, awful service and a continuous loop of passwords and usernames when all I want to do is download a toddler crib. Your better off going on TheSimsResources or Tumblr.
