How I Can Help

I know a lot about survey sites and other sites that pay you to run ads or do other things online. My reviews are fair and thorough.

  • Randstad USA

5/14/19

It's easy to sign up and you can accept assignments on both the office work side and the production work side. From what I've seen, Randstad works harder than any other staffing agency to find temp and temp-to-hire work for you.

Their website is user-friendly and you can use it to create an account and thus set your tax status and keep tabs on your direct deposit or pay card earnings statement. Finally, this company grants second chances; I'm grateful for having one after messing up on my first assignment from them. The lone drawback is you don't have the option to get paid by check.

Take surveys and record your fitness activity with them - it should truly pay off for you. Although I was impressed when I signed up with this site less than a year ago, I didn't know it would be quite this good. Although you must accumulate 10,000 points to receive a $10 payment through direct deposit or PayPal, don't be discouraged, as you can reach this level in months.

In addition to being able to record your fitness activity with many apps, you'll likely receive at least one email from My Achievement per month that invites you to complete the latest offers or take a brief survey that may reward you with anywhere from a few points upwards to 100 points or more. Finally, I signed up to participate in a special project a few months ago in which I respond to an invitation to do a brief survey for 3000 points monthly for the next year. Guess what? I just received my first payment which arrived a day after I requested it.

  • AdSella

6/8/18

I have nothing bad to say about Ad Sella. Once you register then list the URLs for your websites/blogs, Ad Sella is likely to notify you within a few days of your acceptance as a member. Upon acceptance, you can create ad blocks to put on your sites, letting potential clients easily pay you and thus start running ads on your space. Other great aspects include: 1) getting exposure from snapshots of your sites appearing on Ad Sella's home page daily, 2) being able to set the prices for your ads plus the duration they will run, 3) being able to list your own sales/refund policy, 4) only having 15 % of what you make from a sale deducted as a fee and 5) once you make a sale, Ad Sella automatically installs your ad on your site. I recommend you put it in writing that customers will receive a full or partial refund if they opt to pull their ad before it's set to no longer run then follow through on this policy. Make sure to not under-price or overprice your ads - if you charge less than $10, clients are likely to assume they won't get value from giving you a chance. I started setting my prices at around this level after joining in November. I incrementally raised my prices after that and have kept my ad prices at $25 per blog for awhile; feel free to charge more than this if your visitor traffic is high in addition to providing quality publisher content. Finally, don't back down from maxing out the price level you feel comfortable with and don't get discouraged; I didn't make my first sale until last month.

  • Facebook

4/9/18

Although Facebook has been in the news lately regarding a privacy scandal, I would join again in a heartbeat. As long as it's reasonable, you can post what you want and you can market your services although I only promote commercial stuff to my friends unless it's how-to information such as new posts from my self-help blogs which I promote to the public in general. You can easily make posts, comment on posts, express how you feel about posts and report offensive content plus personal attacks. Also, you're provided a list of people you may know. Long story short, Facebook is great for connecting with friends and relatives.

  • Media Sharing Buttons

1/22/18

Anyone can use this service for free and inserting their button code into the HTML/Javascript settings of your website or blog is easy. The social media buttons are very visible and you can easily place them high on every page of your site in the left sidebar or right sidebar, enabling visitors to share your content on Facebook, Twitter and other channels.

  • Marketagent.com

10/11/17

They send survey invitations frequently and the amount of points allotted for the surveys is adequate. When you screen out of a survey, you'll likely be awarded points for your effort. Also, you can earn money for referrals - great referral banners are provided. The only drawback is you must accumulate 1000 points to be able to cash out with no fee; however, you can easily reach that level within a few months on a consistent basis.

  • PayPal

9/9/17

PayPal works flawlessly in remitting the money sent to you from friends as well as businesses you have provided a service to such as taking surveys. You can use it to receive money from selling products/services on your website/blog, with the purchases being secure. Finally, I recommend you opt to receive the money you cash out into your bank account within one business day instead of requesting a check in which you'll have $1.50 debited from your total remittance and wait nearly 10 days to get your money.

  • CookingBites Cooking Forum

6/5/17

If you remain civil and on topic, you can freely express your views about cooking. The more you participate, the more trophies and other recognition you receive. On top of that, you can get your own signature in which you can link to your commercial website after remaining a member for a week and posting five messages/replies to other posts or creating five posts.

  • CVTips

2/10/17

This is a place where you can say what you want about jobs that's relevant to the topic in your posts without the owners censuring or banning you because they may disagree with your views. Also, you may post a commercial link in your signature without being suspended or banned for it. Finally, the members are friendly.

  • Personal-development

2/4/17

This is a great site for members and non-members alike. As a non-member, you can read articles on the site and read the forum comments. As a member, you have a lot of latitude - if you don't abuse another member, you can freely ask questions and express your views in your posts. You may have up to five or six lines and include many commercial links in your signature without a spam penalty - just make sure to not put them in your post.

  • Talk Tennis

2/3/17

If you stay civil and on topic, you can freely express your views and ask/answer questions in your posts. Also, I've been a member for over a year and haven't gotten in trouble for including a commercial link in my signature - I never put it in my posts.

  • Canva

1/12/17

This is a great infographics and commercial image service overall and a great supplement in case you've reached a posting limit elsewhere; there is not a limit to how many of them you can post. Plus, you can choose from a lot of free graphics, customize them to your liking then insert them on your blog or website by choosing Download<embed in your dashboard settings.

It is now easy to edit the graphics you already created with ease and without having to start over. Finally, you can use one of the graphics they provide to create a book cover - to do this, right-click the image of your choice then select "Save As" in the pop-up window then save the image to your computer or other storage device such as a flash drive then upload the saved image to your publisher settings wherever you self-publish your books such as Bookrix.

  • BookRix

10/29/16

As this free self-publishing site distributes your book to multiple online retailers for free once they quickly accept your submission that has at least 2000 words, you will have a big assist in your marketing efforts. Also, you may consistently get sales here and there, especially if you write enough books and create strong titles. Once you accumulate 10 dollars in your account, you will quickly get paid through PayPal. The approval process usually just takes a few days for your book to officially hit the market. The main drawback is you generate just a third in revenue of what you charge for your books; otherwise, they would be just short of perfection.

  • Hubspot

9/9/16

Hubspot sends newsletters that teach you much about marketing and making your website better plus you can comment at the end of their articles with your URL hyperlinked within your first name, giving you exposure and more traffic.

  • Consumerinstitute

8/11/16

Every few months or more, they send me a survey packet to complete and immediately pay me five bucks for it.

  • Amazon Mechanical Turk

7/9/16

For starters, you only need to accumulate 1 dollar in your account to cash out and you should always quickly receive your payout as a direct deposit in your bank account. Mturk offers many tasks, or HITs that you can qualify for and complete relatively quickly. Many of the tasks pay well and almost all of the requesters for the tasks are honest and will pay you for your task completion.

However, the fraud rate seems to be creeping up; whereas the rate for not getting conned out of getting paid for completing surveys was close to 100 %, the rate has gone down to about 90 % for me. Although it's unfortunate for this to ever happen, I find Mturk to probably be the best money-paying site for survey takers and task participants dollar for dollar. Finally, you'll generally receive a secret code to put into the completion code box in the original Mechanical Turk tab/window you began taking a survey HIT from upon completing a survey; my advice to you is this: once you see your special code, step away from your device for a few seconds so you don't somehow get in such a hurry that you click the "Next" button or close out this tab/window before you can copy and paste your code into the completion code field in the other tab/window and thus get paid for your hard work.

  • SurveySavvy

7/9/16

They are reliable, offer quick surveys, let you request a check once you accumulate one buck and sometimes pay five or more bucks for a survey. Also, you can get more money from taking surveys by installing their Savvy Connector, a safe plug-in. Thank goodness that it now takes them just a week or less to issue you a check after you request your payment. In closing, it would help if they let you cash out through PayPal and get paid instantly.

Tip for consumers:
Be patient, as their surveys rarely take long.

  • Springboard America

7/9/16

Springboard America provides surveys that generally won't take more than a few minutes to finish and even I qualify for many of their surveys. Also, you should relatively quickly reach the $50 payout level. Finally, they recently changed the payment system to PayPal, enabling you to quickly get your payment.

  • Usrelocation

12/24/21

I used US Relocation, Inc., a moving company, for my home relocation move in St. Louis in August, and am relatively pleased. Their rate was reasonable plus the movers showed up on time and were professional and courteous.

They also cared enough to move my furniture safely out of my old house and into my new house; they also put my moved furniture where I wanted and put my mattress on my springboard successfully. The reason I cannot give this company five stars is that I felt misled about what could be moved. When I scheduled the move, the person I talked to over the telephone told me I could pack up to 20 boxes and have smaller items moved besides having the furniture I selected moved. Well, the movers only opted to move the furniture items I selected - I had to have my next-door neighbors help me move my other items.

Tip for consumers:
Before scheduling your move, plan out all the furniture and other items you want to take with you to your new home. I knew ahead of time everything I wanted moved and how long it would take to complete the move plus the rate for the estimated total time.

  • Product Report Card

• Updated review

They recently went from letting you quickly get paid by check or PayPal upon accumulating $25 in your account from taking surveys to only letting you redeem your earnings through an Amazon gift card. Although your cash-out request is likely to quickly be approved and Amazon offers such a vast array of merchandise you can order with your gift card code then receive within a few days, Product Report Card should have left in place the option to receive our earnings through PayPal and checks.

Why I love Product Report Card

• Previous review

You will frequently get a survey invitation and when you don't complete a survey, you will get 10 cents for your effort as long as you respond before the survey closes, so respond as soon as possible. You should quickly reach the $25 payout mark and you should quickly get paid whether you opt for a check or opt to be paid through PayPal.
