How I Can Help

I know a lot about survey sites and other sites that pay you to run ads or do other things online. My reviews are fair and thorough.

I was minding my own business when this site invited me by mail to become a member about 2 months ago. I accumulated some points for completing my profile and they supposedly offer a 5-dollar payout upon accumulating 500 points but this is far outweighed by the negatives. Most of the time I've spent taking their surveys, I have either ended up being disqualified or finishing a survey only to be rerouted to another survey.

Many weeks ago, I spent at least 20 minutes taking a survey before screening out. Finally, I just spent a long time taking a survey and completing it but not being credited for it and thus earning any points for my toil.

  • Textbroker

7/29/15

Textbroker now requires writers to re-verify their accounts by sending a photo of themselves showing their faces completely while holding a picture of their ID cards that is easy to see in the photo too and if you don't comply within a day, they permanently close your account. I'll try to find a better site that lets you write for clients and is likely to last.

This is a great infographics and commercial image service overall and a great supplement in case you've reached a posting limit elsewhere; there is not a limit to how many of them you can post. Plus, you can choose from a lot of free graphics, customize them to your liking then insert them on your blog or website by choosing Download<embed in your dashboard settings.

It is now easy to edit the graphics you already created with ease and without having to start over. Finally, you can use one of the graphics they provide to create a book cover - to do this, right-click the image of your choice then select "Save As" in the pop-up window then save the image to your computer or other storage device such as a flash drive then upload the saved image to your publisher settings wherever you self-publish your books such as Bookrix.

  • Commission Junction (CJ)

4/6/18

Looking for such reviews, I wish I had seen these bad reviews on Commission Junction when I joined them in August. Although it's easy to get accepted into the program, the member dashboard is good and I was given a 2nd chance after deactivation on March 1, I don't know where to start regarding what's wrong with this service. Here are the things I dislike about them: 1) It's too hard to reach their support team; 2) If you close your browser, you must login again even if you didn't previously log out; 3) You must accumulate $100 to cash out by check, $50 to cash out by direct deposit; 4) Page loading is slow; 5) Advertisers are allowed to go many months to approve or decline your application to join them; 6) Some advertisers will invite you to join them by email, only to turn you down upon applying through your CJ portal; 7) One advertiser dropped me within a day of approving my application; 8) I've made no money here despite my efforts, my running their advertiser banners on my blogs, my posting their brands discounts on Facebook; and 9) Advertisers are miserly in which some of them state on their banners you'll receive a certain amount of money for generating banner clicks in a 7-day or 90-day period but never pay you no matter how many visitors you continually send them - this can hurt you if your account is deactivated and you're charged a dormancy fee for not earning any commissions for 6 months.

  • Unique Rewards

1/2/19

This site used to be pleasurable and reliable; you could read emails,
Take surveys, watch ads and do other fun activities for money then cash
Out by check or PayPal upon attaining $20 in your account and actually
Be paid within a short time frame.

Now I and several other members have
Gone months without being paid despite having enough
In our accounts. UR keeps saying they always pay and keeps coming up
With excuses, with one of them being they're waiting on confirmation
From their bank. Stay away from this site.

  • City-Data.com

10/20/16

If you run an ad in their classified ads section, they will ban you for spamming for life and you won't be able to use their forums. Also, they make it too hard to contact them to talk about it.

  • LifePoints

9/10/16

I had to stop using them. Although they send the payments you have earned, many of their surveys last at least 30 minutes and they got to the point where they were arbitrary about crediting you for the surveys you successfully completed. The straw that broke the camel's back was not getting the 750 points that were promised for finishing a certain survey that took about three hours total.

  • Constant-Content

9/10/16

It's hard to get them to accept your articles and even if you try to follow their guidelines and write a good article, they will stop accepting articles from you once they reject you three times for any reason.

  • Amazon Mechanical Turk

7/9/16

For starters, you only need to accumulate 1 dollar in your account to cash out and you should always quickly receive your payout as a direct deposit in your bank account. Mturk offers many tasks, or HITs that you can qualify for and complete relatively quickly. Many of the tasks pay well and almost all of the requesters for the tasks are honest and will pay you for your task completion.

However, the fraud rate seems to be creeping up; whereas the rate for not getting conned out of getting paid for completing surveys was close to 100 %, the rate has gone down to about 90 % for me. Although it's unfortunate for this to ever happen, I find Mturk to probably be the best money-paying site for survey takers and task participants dollar for dollar. Finally, you'll generally receive a secret code to put into the completion code box in the original Mechanical Turk tab/window you began taking a survey HIT from upon completing a survey; my advice to you is this: once you see your special code, step away from your device for a few seconds so you don't somehow get in such a hurry that you click the "Next" button or close out this tab/window before you can copy and paste your code into the completion code field in the other tab/window and thus get paid for your hard work.

  • Surveytime

9/22/19

After you sign up, you'll likely get multiple survey invitations for the opportunity to earn a buck per survey daily and most of the surveys are quick but good luck earning money from these people. For starters, you're unable to fill out a personal profile at registration time; consequently, you can't increase the amount of relevant surveys you take.

Each time you take their surveys, you're likely to be screened out eventually, with a message saying you're unable to complete the survey. The last straw was spending awhile on a survey tonight I thought I was qualified for, only to be screened out once again.

  • 2captcha

5/11/16

The only good thing I can say about it is that you can reap a good sum. If you make a cumulative amount of errors over time, your account will be suspended or banned. Sometimes the system will give you an error and warning even if you actually did the captcha the way it was supposed to be typed in. The system just brought up a mistake that was falsely given to me a while ago and suspended my account for 20 minutes. I was a good worker and mainly made mistakes as a beginner. I refuse to continue using this system and eventually get a long suspension or a permanent ban through no fault of my own.

Hi!
A few mistakes won't get your account banned. But it is true that account will get a temporary block for work if there was a lot of mistakes in a row.
I you feel that something is wrong with our error-recognition system, please feel free to request help from our support team through ticket-system: https://2captcha.com/support/faq/39

  • OneOpinion

1/2/17

I won't give them a one-star rating because they frequently send survey invitations and some of their surveys are worth at least a few thousand points. On the other hand, the negatives outweigh the positives. You must accumulate 25,000 points to get a retail gift card (no cash offered), some of the surveys are routed to sites where you constantly get routed to other surveys and you will often get a survey that takes much longer than the ten or fifteen minutes promised before you begin, with the incentive (1000 points) not worth it. Finally, it takes too long to get the 25,000 points anyway.

  • Not Alone

10/31/16

I simply included the link to one of my blogs in my signature and did not run an ad in my sole post but got banned anyway for what they consider spam. They state that you can't run ads in their policies but don't state that you can't include links in your profile or signature.

Sure, if someone registered and the first thing they do is add a link to signature that would get you banned here.

  • BookRix

10/29/16

As this free self-publishing site distributes your book to multiple online retailers for free once they quickly accept your submission that has at least 2000 words, you will have a big assist in your marketing efforts. Also, you may consistently get sales here and there, especially if you write enough books and create strong titles. Once you accumulate 10 dollars in your account, you will quickly get paid through PayPal. The approval process usually just takes a few days for your book to officially hit the market. The main drawback is you generate just a third in revenue of what you charge for your books; otherwise, they would be just short of perfection.

  • Product Report Card

• Updated review

They recently went from letting you quickly get paid by check or PayPal upon accumulating $25 in your account from taking surveys to only letting you redeem your earnings through an Amazon gift card. Although your cash-out request is likely to quickly be approved and Amazon offers such a vast array of merchandise you can order with your gift card code then receive within a few days, Product Report Card should have left in place the option to receive our earnings through PayPal and checks.

Thanks for your review, Todd. While we do offer Amazon rewards, we are seeking to expand our rewards options soon!

You will frequently get a survey invitation and when you don't complete a survey, you will get 10 cents for your effort as long as you respond before the survey closes, so respond as soon as possible. You should quickly reach the $25 payout mark and you should quickly get paid whether you opt for a check or opt to be paid through PayPal.

  • AdSella

6/8/18

I have nothing bad to say about Ad Sella. Once you register then list the URLs for your websites/blogs, Ad Sella is likely to notify you within a few days of your acceptance as a member. Upon acceptance, you can create ad blocks to put on your sites, letting potential clients easily pay you and thus start running ads on your space. Other great aspects include: 1) getting exposure from snapshots of your sites appearing on Ad Sella's home page daily, 2) being able to set the prices for your ads plus the duration they will run, 3) being able to list your own sales/refund policy, 4) only having 15 % of what you make from a sale deducted as a fee and 5) once you make a sale, Ad Sella automatically installs your ad on your site. I recommend you put it in writing that customers will receive a full or partial refund if they opt to pull their ad before it's set to no longer run then follow through on this policy. Make sure to not under-price or overprice your ads - if you charge less than $10, clients are likely to assume they won't get value from giving you a chance. I started setting my prices at around this level after joining in November. I incrementally raised my prices after that and have kept my ad prices at $25 per blog for awhile; feel free to charge more than this if your visitor traffic is high in addition to providing quality publisher content. Finally, don't back down from maxing out the price level you feel comfortable with and don't get discouraged; I didn't make my first sale until last month.

  • Blogmutt

12/30/16

After I signed up months ago, I didn't write an article because I couldn't find anything to write based on the type of articles sought by the clients. Although I explained this to the website owner as he emailed me to urge me to write, he kept frequently writing to me on this until I logged in and made it so I would get no more notifications from them. About a month ago, I made my occasional login attempt only to find my account had obviously been cancelled by that same guy.

  • SendEarnings

7/9/16

They are reliable and let you make money through taking surveys and completing offers. They would be great if it did not often take half a year or more to reach the $30 payout level and they did not only let you get paid by check - on the bright side, you can get your checks within a week by paying ten bucks for a lifetime gold membership.

  • BidVertiser

1/3/19

If you insert their ad code on your site, you'll get ads that when triggered produce multiple pop-up layers that cover up your site and make returning to it too hard.

  • OpinionOutpost

7/9/16

It's obvious they no longer value me as a member, they have ceased sending me survey invitations and I just cashed out the remaining 50 points worth 5 bucks I had by donating it to Red Cross, especially because it would have been hard to get anything worthwhile from Amazon with a gift card for that amount of money. After completing my last survey with them yesterday, a profile survey at that, I got a message saying my account was now deactivated and that I was no longer a fit for the OO community due to speeding through the surveys or being untruthful - I take exception to that because I always take surveys with great care; furthermore, I was just making changes to my profile based on having different circumstances now. Finally, they just revealed in their new policies that instead of still being able to get paid through PayPal once you have 100 points (worth 10 dollars) in your account, you must wait until you have $50 in your account to cash out.
