I was starting to enjoy using the Tesco online website and the delivery services. I ordered about RM 295, but the actual bill came to RM 315.
Apparently one of their terms and condition is they are allowed to do substitutions. So, a couple of the items I selected were substituted with more expensive items. They do allow me to return it, but someone (not me) signed for the order. I now got to go to an actual store if I want to return it.
It's a stupid terms and condition. I have never ever had an online commerce site that allows substitutions. It should be exactly what we ordered, or at least asks before hand if we agree to it.
If the product is not available, why offer it online? Especially when items that are on promotion. All the items that were substituted were on promo. So, it is a classic bait and switch.
In short, I will not be using Tesco Malaysia online any more. Once bitten, twice shy.
