The experience started out well
1st problem They brought dead plants (1 and 5 gal) and I had to beg to get them to bring new ones... Brought 2 huge trees in burlap and left them on west side of house in 105 degree weather. I sent a picture of the trees with curled up leaves to sales guy Jason he said don't worry they will be fine. I called a reputable nursery. Explained the situation they said dont except. When they planted plants they dug the hole same size as the pot it came in. Anyone lay person that has planted plants knows you make the hole at least two times wider. This was a 13,000 job.
The worst problem was they quoted the water feature (which was suppose to be a kit boudler type) at $2000 out of the $13,000.
In that quote they we going to move the existing rock in the front to the side of house
For $1000. 00. Im mentioned to Jason before the job I did not want the rocks moved and get my money back. So when they started the job Jason said Frank the owner
Was going to build a beautiful fountain feature and be worth the $2000 already estimated and make up for the $1000 in rock moving. So now a $3000 feature.
So I though great there professionals. When the feature was completed it was awful and looked worse than a cheap homr owner project... No new material was used and even employees that worked on the job and others that did not said it was terrible.
Everyone that has seen it feels the same. When they were almost finished... Frank the owner came and i told him that is was not right he raised his voice and said WHY DIDNT U SAY THIS BEFORE... well i had no pictures to see what there were going to do... He stomped off He said WE Have DONE ENOUGH FOR YOU! No we are not doing anything more. Oh i forgot to mention that the electrical ($750.00)for the fountain was going to be extra I said no and he reviewed the contract and said he would pay...
So if he thought he was giving us enough buy replacing dead trees and plants that should have been alive and healthy and paying for electric that was included in contract... i'm not sure what he did for us.
However the pavers and planters we great...
If you are someone that just wants a common landscape for a high price they are the ones for you...
