Bought a new bike from BikesDirect.com and the sales and shipping went well but after... Putting the bike together had many issues including "trueing" the rims because they were not straight. This is not an easy task and certainly not for a novice.
I brought this to the attention of BD and they said this is normal for shipped bikes.
So we had to take the bike to a bike shop and have them fix it. In the end it would have been way less hassle and cost just buying form the bike shop. We used San Tan Bikes in San Tan Valley AZ. They were awesome and the cost was very reasonable. They said that the bike had many problems. Hope this helps someone.
