7/1/10

Ereader is a subsidiary of Barnes and Noble and sells ebooks. The ereader is very good and it used to be one of my favorite places to purchase books, although they are more expensive than Kobo or ibooks (they do give rewards though, so the prices go down). I recently had to restore my ipod so I lost all my content. Thinking it would be no big deal to re-download the hundreds of dollars of books I purchased was a huge mistake. There are several books where the link was removed and I can't get my books. Ereader/Fictionwise sends me generic replies back when I try to email them with my problem. This has been on going for months. I can't read books that I bought and they won't refund my money, saying I had to download them within the hour after purchase! They were downloaded to my ipod but not my computer. Who would buy an ebook if they thought they coud download it only one time? Their customer service is a joke. There is no address or phone number for this company and no way to contact them except via email to their non existent support staff. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BOOKS FROM EREADER. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AT ALL!
