I have four Wyze cameras - one pan cam and 3 WzyeCam v3. I also have access to a shared v3 from my mother. I've bought several of these as gifts and have also recommended them to friends. When these things work, they are awesome. Problem is they frequently DON'T work! They CONSTANTLY go offline for no apparent reason. It's definitely not due to my internet. I pretty much have my entire home on smart devices, Echos in every room, smart plugs and lights. Everything seems to work smoothly with rare issues with anything other than my Wyze products. Oh and I have a Wyze keypad and smart lock too. Keypad is great because the lock RARELY unlocks automatically like it's supposed to. I have gotten in the habit of using my Alexa Auto to unlock it when I'm close to home because I've basically given up on it performing as it is supposed to. Locks automatically 100% of the time but the unlock is probably < 50% (my main reason for purchasing it!)
But back to the cameras - the v3 are far superior to the pan cam, which is more expensive. Image quality is wonderful on the v3 but pretty bad on the pan cam. I thought I would love the pan cam but it constantly moves (when it's not really supposed to). Most of the time when you try to view from it, it has turned itself all the way around (mine ends up facing a stationary object on my mantle, which in no way could have triggered it). It also fights against you when you are trying to change the view from your phone. I did find an easy fix for this - you can change the setting to a set area of viewing. It will still pick up motion and track but will return to the set area.
Another reason I can't recommend Wyze is their support. They make it extremely difficult to reach out to them - no easily accessible contact information to enable you to speak with a live person. Fortunately for me (or maybe not so fortunately) I've had to contact them so many times that I saved their number in my phone! When you do finally talk with them, they are very nice but every time, the ultimate fix has ended up being for me to uninstall the camera and reinstall it! Seriously?! With four cameras and all of them being set up to be on a schedule, that is a MAJOR pain in the a**! Especially since a couple of them I've had to do this with more than once.
A third issue, not a dealbreaker, but super annoying, is how they are constantly trying to get you to subscribe to their paid service for longer than 12 seconds of recording. First of all, Wyze, I bought your cameras largely due to the fact that I did NOT want another monthly subscription for something. I use my cameras for the most part to check on my dogs while I'm at work. Most of the time, 12 seconds is plenty but it's a little deceptive to say it's free and then you limit the time even if you have memory cards in your devices (which I do).
This company has the potential to be amazing. I absolutely LOVE my v3 cameras. Just wish they weren't so unreliable and the support was better. I think the underlying problem is they are trying to do too many things at once. Stick with the cameras and locks instead of smart vacuums and sprinkler systems and more!

Tip for consumers:
I would order Wyze products from Amazon and not directly from Wyze (if I ever order any more which is highly doubtful). Amazon is supremely better to deal with.

Products used:
None. I’m still using (3) Wyze Cam v3, (1) Wyze Pan Cam, Wyze smart lock and keypad and have access to view my mother’s v3 camera. Unfortunately 4 of the 5 cameras have been offline for the past 2 days!
