Great tool for managing income via my website, and for paying for online purchases securely. When I have raised a couple of disputes over the last 8 years or so, they were resolved reasonably and quickly by PayPal.

Have been a customer for over 20 years and always very good service. Such a shame some local branch depots have closed and there is no longer a loyalty, customer card. I have not tried on line ordering.

I see this and use the site as a business platform, to both promote and find other professional services. I probably do not use the site well, and because I am so busy and receive a lot of word of mouth referrals I don't use Linked in to it's full potential. I could do with learning how to use it more effectively. But I like the way it links to so many professional companies and people.

Overall good service, but I would not attempt to sell music mp3s with them as too complex and they were very unhelpful in this case. But for purchase of goods, books, and most things very efficient. Sometimes we have not been able to get our money back on faulty products though.

Went in to local branch in Washington Tyne and Wear, to ask about carpet for my caravan and took in the old carpet, wondering if they could cut to size in the store as the caravan is in storage 30 miles to the South. He was very disdainful and unwilling to offer information about the best way to proceed. Saying simply 'You will need a carpet fitter to fit into the caravan or will could be liable. Can you bring the caravan here?'. (Well would I take my house there)? Where as I then went in to Frank's Carpets in Chester le Street, Tom not only helped me carry the old carpet from and back to my car, he immediately said that they have carpet fitters local to the caravan, and gave a reasonable overall price. I will be having a full house fitting soon. But will not go back to Carpetright.

Cheap but confusing. They offered free domain, which I had to pay for to renew and wasn't free at all, hosting costs and other costs for two years cost me nearly £200, but the domain name was on the open market 6 months later and I lost it. E hosts say it was my fault as I did not renew. (But apologised and admitted a mistake had been made and if I renewed they would give me back the money)! Eh why should I have to pay for a site I spend months building when they lost the domain and refuse to accept responsibility. Why had I paid them all that money for? So yes it may seem cheap and is easy to use to build the site. But whats the point if you lose the site or end up paying lots more in extras because of complex admin, shifting blame, and poor after sales service. I have used many other host companies but never again with e hosts.
