About Me

Hi, I'm just your typical Midwestern girl, ahem, well, actually I consider myself ageless, who hates being defrauded and tricked by individuals on the internet. Over and over I am told stories by real people who have lost their money and sense of dignity by being abused by criminals who stalk the internet. Are they really criminals or are they just people who have found loopholes in the law? Perhaps they just haven't been caught yet. I love writing about ripoffs because yes, I too have been naile

How I Can Help

As above. Try to avoid the obvious ripoffs and report the rest to the FBI internet fraud squad. Remember to save all your emails to and from the offending party to forward to the FBI. A lot of criminals will no longer ship via USPS. It's not because other shipping is cheaper, it's because they can be prosecuted for mail fraud. Think about getting a prepaid debit card that you just use for internet purchases. Avoid companies that want to keep your card number and recharge you every month or year.

Interests

Books of all kinds especially those printed on real paper. Anything with four limbs and hair.

Ever try and buy something off a site and they insist that you log into Facebook first. Yup they're spying on you. They want to know your interests, your hobbies etcetera so they can tailor online ads that will catch your eye. My policy is stay the heck away from Facebook. It is way hacked and mostly it's just a way for some retailer to sy on you.

Biddl is now becoming famous for delaying shipment of your prizes for 2 months or more then telling you they are out of stock. Do you really want to waste $200.00 in bids and then not get the actual TV you bid on?
Caveat emptor.

Coins won on AliExpress flip game are predetermined. You will only get the coins they choose to give you. As for spending them that's a scam too. Ever wait up till 1 AM to try and get a coin exchange? My phone suddenly went haywire and took me to a different page. Guess what, it took several minutes to get back to the correct page and all the coin exchange gifts were gone. Instead you are offered to exchange your coins for worthless items you don't want. Here's hoping that AliExpress will suffer the same huge financial setbacks that AliBaba did.
