I am also a couture fashion house addict. I love to view the websites and have no patience for a boring one. I see most of the designer's seasonal collections online.
Not even to comment on the quality of the apparel, which is unquestionable, for the most part; one of my favorites is always Chanel.
Chanel.com is probably one of the most artistic websites online that you will see, period. Period. Go there and look.
And, even if you don't like the brand or even fashion, you will learn something about a good website by looking at it.

I said before I was an online news junkie.
This is a site that loads about the speed of me when I wake up.
But, it is really packed full of English translation news. It is like a feast!
Problem: I think it might be hacked on and watched--all the more reason for you to go there and read.
I hate censorship.

LOVE this company. Yes, they did hit me up for the big time program. I called customer service and that young man was the greatest--he was Spanish speaking and what a great employee! They paid for shipping back.
I ended up buying multiple beginning programs in addition to the French I had purchased. I will buy more. I love them.
My advice, get that young man and be firm with them and buy all the beginner CDs and go crazy for languages! They are cheap and good!

  • Yahoo

I am a real yahoo and online news junkie, and I read and scan multiple articles pretty much everyday.
I'm not too big with some of the articles and the slant. And... then there are loading problems they have occasionally; but yahoo seems to always be more than fair with the comments sections.
Many times the comments people make seem to be just insults, but yahoo lets it go. I am glad.
Yahoo seems to try to let people speak, even if it is garbage, and that is a real public service.
There is increasing censorship online and in online businesses, increasing blacklisting in employment, even online.
I am concerned about this and glad for yahoo.

Tip for consumers:
Ignore trolls: but there might be legitimate concerns with angry people.

Wen hair products are fantastic.
Their business dealings with you as a repeat shipping customer are horrible.
They ship when you ask them not to.
They make you pay anyway when you asked them to stop sending the shipments.
They send you to collections on bills you have paid, or that is what they told you...
They switch to multiple collection agencies that will not tell you who they are and... mark up your credit.
After you call them multiple times to straighten it out, they lose the information and send you on to a new collection agency.
Advice: Buy your Wen products at Sephora.

Last time I knew, this company hired people on straight commission only, in sales roles. The new sales reps are not paid for sales prospecting and cold calls, gas, and other expenses and give up all this effort to the company with no guarantee that they will benefit at all from the effort. They have a small draw that must be repaid.
To be fair, they do have some good employees in support roles; but the process they use exploits new and hopeful employees.
They do advertise on line on their site for careers.
Stay away unless you know you can walk in a business on a cold call and sell immediately--everyday multiple times. (You are kidding yourself, too.) It will only drain your bank account if you can't and they get free prospecting--which businesses pay a lot for.

Wyzant gives the impression that they will accept a tutor on the basis on their teaching experience (I have years) their degree (I have some towards a master's degree) and testing on the subjects taught (I passed the subject tests I wanted to teach). Not True.
After I had taken the tests and given them all the personal information they asked for--including my bank account numbers--they sent a email. It stated they were sorry that they could not allow me to tutor for them.
The reason stated was because they did not like my advertisement/intro; which I could have changed. They asked for revision of this x3. I did; but they never stated why they didn't like it. Or how they would like it changed. It was 2 paragraphs. So now they have all the personal info for nothing.
They are arbitrary in their business decisions and I would not recommend anyone tutor or use their service.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother. Start your own.
