I got my Class A CDL in three weeks at GDA! The first week, they prepped me for my permit; second week, I learned about the trucks and performed DOT maneuvers; the third week was driving a 10-speed, 53' tractor trailer on public roads. The instructors are the bomb! Their mastery of academic and real-world experience was invaluable during training. Here's my advice to incoming students: do the exercises EXACTLY as the instructors teach it to you and put in the work. This course packs a lot in a short amount of time; they know what they're doing. The hardest part of my three weeks was making a decision on which company to work for. I had at least ten job offers before I finished training! Good luck.

The owner of the company personally drove one hour to get to my home. I was sold within 15 minutes of viewing his portfolio and the samples he had in his truck. Wow!

AAA Medallion Security (AAA) uses high quality materials in the construction and the workmanship is outstanding. The bar's design mirrors the existing grilles of my windows and doors; they fit perfectly. The bolts used to secure them are tamper proof and they were installed inside which protects them from the elements. Don't you know that AAA took the time to remove and reset my blinds so they remain functional? How many companies do that? The escape hatches are also a well-thought out design and come with your choice of Lexan or steel mesh.

I'm not going to lie, they're not "cheap" but trust me, their product is worth every penny. If you think about your family's safety when you're not home, choose AAA. The key to keeping them safe is keeping the bad guys from getting in! You won't have to worry about smash & grabs, violent assaults or middle of the night abductions. I've always said, YOU CANNOT PUT A PRICE ON A PEACE OF MIND!

My wife wanted to be closer to her job, neither of us liked our neighborhood and we didn't want to go through the rigmarole of selling; so we chose Offerpad. Initially, they offered us $125K (our pay-off was $100K). Unfortunately, when we got to the closing attorney, there was $16,500 in deductions. When the dust settled, we were left with about $8,500 for our pockets. If you want to get out of your home and start a new life somewhere else, Offerpad is the way to go but if you want to leave with a lot more pocket change, be patient and sell it the traditional way.

Conclusion: what we liked most was that they paid off our mortgage and monies owed to us literally within an hour after closing; what we liked least was the 7% fee (most realtors charge 3%).

One last thing, we got hit with a $500 "clean-up" fee after closing because of trash in the backyard. My advice to you is, when your home inspector and marketing consultant comes through, ask the consultant to do a "yard inspection" so they can identify anything that may leave you with less money. No one likes to be nickeled and dimed. To view the photo, save it to your PC then open it in your photo viewer.
