I am not an experienced web builder. I used to do some HTML code 20 years ago, but I don't remember much at all. I have not seen the upside to this software yet. The tutorial that is online from the company runs too fast, and has a banner in front of many of the buttons one needs to click, so you can't tell what they are doing. So it is pretty much useless. I have requested that they fix both issues, but 6 months later, nothing has changed.
When you want tech help a ticket needs to be submitted. They don't seem to work on weekends, and it takes a couple of days for a response... which often is requesting more information, but sometimes providing the needed information. This means a lot of downtime to learn how to do some of the simplest of tasks. The program is not particularly intuitive. Their upgrades don't always work well. I have been working on getting their form for a contact page to be functional now for about a month. First they said look at the form that I created (I discovered an email address typo), I fixed it then it still didn't work. Then they asked me for things that I had no idea what they wanted. I asked for clarification. Then they wanted to know what version of PHP I was using. I provided that. Then they wanted to know my PHP settings. I did research and found a page that had a lot of setting information from the company that has the server. Since they weren't specific about what they were looking for, I sent a link to the page. That is where I stand as of now. I don't know if they will solve the issue or not. But I can't launch the page when I have a contact page that tells the viewer that their message has been sent, but it is not received by me.
UPDATE: 3 days later I received a message that they look forward to reviewing my issue. No resolution yet.
2nd Update: Two weeks later. Problem not resolved. I was told by the company that hosts the web page that PHP is an out dated system that creates problems with verifying emails and thus is inconsistent in emails that are actually received. I gave this information to the company and they said they are working on it as a priority... that was 4 days ago. With testing I found that I received 6 of 7 emails sent as a test and that delivery time varied between 2 minutes and 16 hours. Definitely problematic.
Hi there! I sincerely apologize, definitely sounds like a few things went wrong here! I'm the Customer Service Supervisor and I'd like to discuss this further; not only to see if there is still something I can help resolve but also to see if you'd be willing to provide me additional details, such as your order number, so I can review where we missed the mark on this one and provide additional training to close the gaps. Please let me know if you'd be open to discussing this further! Thank you!
