It was a reconditioned one like the one linked here. The sales person offered to install it for $125 and I opted for that as well. Got home a couple of hours later and went to view the drive. NO RECORDING. I referenced the manual online and double checked all the settings. It turns on but doesn't record. Back to the store. The sales checks it out and thought there was a problem with the install. Install guy checks it out and says install OK. I said it's the unit. Easily fixed by trying a new unit. So they go and unbox a brand new unit that is double the price. Same model. It works! Record light comes on. They exchange it and I go home happy. However I realize a couple of days later that it's not retaining the date and time settings. There is an internal battery but it doesn't seem to be charging. So back to the store again. We try another new box. And then a newer even more expensive model. Again no retention of the date and time. The manual says it will but according to the sales guy he says you have to have it installed so it's always powered on. Ok make it happen I say. No charge sir I'm with the installer who says. You know you'd be better off with a thinkware dashcam. He explains it is the only one he recommends. It's barely visible behind the mirror and has better resolution. It's a bit more more but the sales guy gives me a deal at $75 more and the installer says he'll install for $30 essentially to remove the old install and reinstall. A few hours later I'm back and very happy. I give the installer a tip $40 because he made no money on the job. He refuses saying he wants to make me happy and can't accept the tip. So a few weeks later I get an email asking me to rate the cobra dashcam... and I gave it a bad rating but praised the Burlington store for excellent customer service. The review was never published. So entered it again. And again but it appears any negative review is not allowed. Thus know the reviews on Vision Electronics website as biased.

I have an extensive collection of flatware, coins, stamps and fine china from my parents estate. Items go back to the 1800's. I contacted MaxSold and spoke to an individual for an estimate where I showed everything via a video call. He was excited and said I had real value here. He explained that MaxSold would come onsite and catalog everything for a fee of $800 and 30%. This evening I received a call from Stephanie who explained that I needed to unpack everything and have it available for pictures or there was a fee of $100 per hr per person (two people) to setup. There are bins of coins mostly in sleaves, boxes of flatware and fine china all available in my basement for photographing. I am upset that their sales practices are misleading. $800 seemed fair to me but a potential $1600 above that for setup is not.

Having the read the reviews here I was concerned that I had made a bad purchase. I am happy to report I had no issues. My T-Shirt was received in 15 days from my order. Shipped from Texas to Canada. It's a good quality Fruit of the Loom shirt and it's the right size. The stencil is exactly as advertised on Facebook. Just posting here that not all purchases are bad from this company.
