Got their waffles towels after reading amazing reviews in the New York Times.

They were not that great honestly. Very thin and still were wet the next day. They have a policy that you can try them for 60 days, no risk. However, when I tried to return them they said I have to pay for return shipping. That is very misleading.

For $100 towels - Yes $100 I expect more. I guess I am the sucker for spending $100 on towels!

We use this at my work and it's a great way to communicate. Unfortunately, my company is prohibiting us from using it as it's not secure enough.

  • Doordash

7/14/20

This company is the worse and their customer service is also terrible. I joined doordash as part of a promotion with Chase credit card. I was supposed to get Dashpass for free, instead was charged $9.99 for three months before I figured out they were charging me. I have contacted them several times to get the refund and has not happened. I give up.

  • Change My Address

Movers beware! There are websites out there that appear to be the formal USPS change of address forms online, but they are not affiliated and will charge you up to $80 for what the USPS charges only $1.05. This is one of them. If you catch your mistake with in 30 days of purchase, their website states that you can call to get a full refund, no questions asked. I called and of course they did ask me questions. First, they offered me a 50% refund, then offered a discounted price of $9.99, and finally agreed to fully refund me minus the $1.05 (they do actually send your information to USPS to change the address for you). You need to stay firm on the phone that you want the full refund.

Major scam!

  • Justfly.com

I booked a flight last night and immediately after realized that I book one leg incorrectly. On the website when I was booking stated 24 hour free cancellation. However when I called they informed it it would be $75 per person fee. When I insisted the website said otherwise, they agreed to wave the fee. I am glad I did not have to pay the fee, but I had to fight for it.

I have an ergo baby 360 and its my favorite carrier. My son immediately passes out when hes in it and it well supports my back. Its a little tricky to figure out in the beginning, especially when you have to use the newborn insert. However their newest model, the Omni does not require a newborn insert and has a pocket for your phone. Its approved to prevent hip dysplasia. I have never tried the Baby Bjorn Carriers, but some of them look concerning because the Babies legs look like they hang down.

  • Caeden, Inc.

I bought their in ear headphones because they were on the NYT gift list for 2015. I do like that product which is why they get two stars. I then pre-ordered the Sona - their attempt at an activity band. I purchased it in April for a release date of June. Since then, it has been repeatedly pushed back. With each e-mail promising it in the next few months and then receiving another e-mail pushing it back even more. Its now nearly December and no sign that I will get anything soon. Their customer service has about a 2 week lag time to respond. So ridiculous.

  • ClassPass

4/7/16

Overall the Classpass can be a great deal if you enjoy doing fitness classes. In the Bay Area you can get unlimited classes for a month for $120. Some of the classes on class pass cost over $30 per class, so great deal. There is a big BUT though. You can only take up to 3 classes per month at each site. Also there sites can limit the classes that are offered on Classpass and the number of Classpass members can attend each class.

I joined to try do classes with a friend, but as soon as one of us would sign up, the class would disappear for the other person. The irony is that the cover photo is three friends working out together, however that would NEVER happen as most classes cap as two Classpass people.

  • SHEIN

I should have known that the low prices were too good to be true. I bought two dresses for about $20 each. They looked great in the photos, but once I got them the material was cheap and the small (smallest size) looked huge on me. I ended up donating them to Good will - I couldn't even wear them once!

  • Dashlane

2/23/15

This is one of two major password saving websites (lastpass is the other). I prefer this to lastpass because I found lastpass confusing to use. On the other hand, Dashlane is very simple - you download the plugin and it starts to save your login and passwords as you go to various websites. You can even have dashlane automatically log in when you go to the website. It is free and there is a charge for the premium service. Definitely worth checking out as internet privacy is becoming a larger issue!

  • LastPass

2/23/15

When I was looking for a password saving site, the two major ones that I came across were Dashlane and LastPass. I first tried LastPass because it seemed more popular. However, I found it very confusing to use as I already had many login/passwords already save in chrome. It was overlapping and was not saving password changes correctly. Then uninstalled it and changed to Dashlane and have been much happier!

  • Woot!

2/23/15

I have purchased a few times from Woot. However, most of the time their e-mail goes straight to the trash folder. For instance, I purchased a mattress that was a good deal as it was cheaper than overstock - that had the same one. However, many times you can find the same item or the same price or cheaper else where. Also, the quality is often not good - at least for the clothing it is terrible. The best part is that they allow people to comment and reading other's comments can be extremely helpful!

  • Groupon

2/23/15

Groupon started off as a site with great deals. Now the deals are not nearly as good (I think because companies have figured out and it is not a good deal on their end). For instance, I once saw a coupon for a dinner for two for $59 that was $1 off the regular price for $60. I think I would rather spend the extra $1 for the freedom to go when I want to go and have an expiration on my Groupon. There are some good finds from time to time... but now it often goes to my spam folder...

  • Bed Bath & Beyond

2/23/15

I wanted to buy my husband an Ostrich neck pillow (google it if you don't know what it is!). The stores did not have it, but they do online. Free shipping on > $50 is great. You can also return to a local store. The only downside is many of the coupons can only be redeemed in store - I always use the coupons for 20% off!

  • Grand Rounds

2/23/15

This is a great tool if you have questions about your medical diagnosis and/or treatment and you want a second opinion from an expert from a leading around the country. They can also help set up a local office visit for an in person second opinion. This service may be offered through your company as a benefit, because to pay out of pocket can be expensive.

  • Chase

4/21/14

I fine the Chase website very easy to use. I have the Chase Blue Sapphire card and it has pretty good rewards: 2% on restaurants and travel and 1% on everything else. No foreign transaction fee. Its also a cool card in its self!

  • RottenTomatoes

4/21/14

Rottentomatoes is a great place to get movie reviews. I like how it takes in account both critics and real movie goers. I don't think I have ever not liked a movie that was well reviewed on rottentomatoes.

  • GEICO

4/21/14

Easy website to use. I saved money over using Farmer's before. However, I may start shopping around again because AAA looks cheaper.

  • Tripadvisor

4/21/14

I always use this site when traveling, especially internationally. I have never had a bad experience with a well reviewed hotel or restaurant.
