This site has to be the cheapest printing website out there, especially if you wait for the 40-50% off promotions. I will be using them for my wedding. It might not have as many options as the other sites, such as paperless post or weddingpaper divas. But, if you are not too picky, its way cheaper!

I love the idea that this site is giving small businesses (mainly artists) a venue to sell their art. I had a very good experience with my first purchase (a magnet board) and would try it again. Although, I bet your experience would vary based on the artist that you purchase from.

Another flash deal site. Less selection than gilt or myhabit, but the designer clothes seem to be more high end. Dress came as expected.

Order some photobooks for my wedding. Overall I the online software to make the books is pretty good, although it doesn't allow me to do everything editing-wise I would have wanted (I am used to working on Microsoft Publisher). For instance, I couldn't remove a sticker that was put on one of the pages - really annoying. If you wait long enough for the right promotion, you can get a good deal (I got 40% off and free shipping). The printing quality was okay. Customer service - great! One of the books did not arrived and they shipped a new one for free.

I had a dress come late, so it did not arrive in time for the event (UPS delay due to weather). The customer service was very sympathetic and they gave me a refund and a $100 credit for my next dress. Pretty good. The next time the I got two dresses, one looked nice and I used it, the other not so much. I would try it again in the future!

10/25/13: Update, I just saw that they are letting you try on 5 dresses for $50 to see which one is best. When you return the dresses, the $50 goes towards your next purchase. I haven't tried it yet, but pretty sweet!

I purchased a Living Social deal. I contacted them through e-mail and they said that they deal was no longer valid, but they would offer me a cleaning for that same price. And, to sweeten the deal they would even clean my bathtub for no additional charge (really!? bathtub cleaning is not standard?). Anyway, I said okay, let me know what dates are available and they still haven't contacted me back now 3 weeks later. The whole company seems shady and disorganized.

Yes there are better survey websites out there. But, what I like about surveymonkey is that 1) it has a very simple design and interface and 2) you can access a lot of its product for free. If you need fancier capabilities, you will need to pay, but so far I have been able to get away with just using the free options.

I love Hulu. Great shows. Low monthly price. Although, sadly, I have noticed that some of my favorite shows are being taken off hulu and on to their own network apps, i.e. Downtown Abby. Only downside is that you can't use it internationally.

I love their clothes. They are so unique and you cannot find their clothes elsewhere. Every once in a while they have a sale, on their sales! Great customer service.

I love using Pandora, on my computer, on my phone, in my car. It would be nice if I could pick the songs, like on Spotify, but its free and it introduces me to new songs. It's a great product. I know they will have competition soon from Apple..we will see how they do!

A free service that allows you to play lots of songs, on demand - pretty good! The only down side is I am starting to see some songs not available, for instance a popular Rihanna song. I can only find the remixed by other people, but not the original.

Yet another flash deals website, this time by American Express. The sales are fairly limited, they only have 1-3 per day. The customer service is decent. They charge for shipping, which is a downside because most of their competitors do not. The only plus is that they are a less popular site, so you are more likely to get the size you want. Pretty average.

Based out of SF, this company offers fully customizable messenger bags. You get to pick everything: the style, size, material (inside and out), pockets, etc. The staff are very nice and friendly. My bag was made within 2 business days. Not too bad!

This is the website on children's health run by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the largest group of American pediatricians and the group that certifies all of the pediatricians boarded in the US. You can definitely trust the content. Also, they are starting to publish in Spanish and have sections that can be read to you if there are literacy issues.

Skymall sells everything you did not know you need to have!

I bought two items from the skymall after I saw their products on a recent flight. They arrived on time and as described. Also, if you google coupon, you nearly always can get a discount.
Huntley Club

This is supposed to be a private membership club that gives you discounts to various luxury sites and services, such as Equinox gym, hotels, etc. I am not sure how, but I was invited to be a member early on, free of charge. Now they are charging for membership, but I have been grandfathered in. Oddly, even though its free, I still cannot find any discounts that I would be interested in using or cannot find better deals elsewhere. I certainly wouldn't pay money to be apart of this group - at least until they get better/more useful discounts!

Theknot.com is pretty overwhelming. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, this website makes it even more stressful because you realize all of the beautiful things that you cannot afford or have time to plan for your wedding. That said, it is a good source for all things wedding. And, I will be using their website for my wedding website, mainly because after looking at several sites, it was the prettiest, easiest, and allowed us to customize it to how we liked. For that it gets 4 stars. Thanks!

I love the clothes and designers offered on gilt.com. And, it was made even better when they reduced the price of shipping, now offer you the option between a refund or store credit (in the past they only allowed store credit), and offer free returns. My biggest problem with the site is that most of the items I want, and particularly the sizes I want (small) get sold out within the first 10 mins of the sale starting. So, unless you have a job that allows you to sit at a computer and wait for the sale to immediately start, I rarely have the chance to get what I want. That said, I have had to return or get a refund for many items in the past, and they have excellent customer service and returns. No questions asked.

I wanted to addend my prior post:
1) You can no longer get refunded your money, you have to accept Gilt Credit. That kind of stinks. And, you still have to pay for return shipping (before if you accepted Credit you got returns for free).
2) They have MADE-UP DESIGNER BRANDS. They have created over 20 designer "labels" that are only sold at Gilt. And when they say it has a huge discount from the "retail price" - its totally made up because it is only sold at their website.

The only reason I still shop is because have now have all this store credit I need to use up first...
MYHABIT

Another one of those designer sale websites, but this time from Amazon. Because it is run by Amazon, the customer service is amazing. You can return most things (even a 1K wedding dress) for a flat rate of about $4. Shipping to you is free. They also refund you back to your credit card (Gilt only gives you credit back). Finally, I have noticed that their sales tend to run slightly cheaper than other sites, like Gilt (for the same exact items).

One last thing. Gilt has created these fake designer brands to make you think that you are getting huge savings, but you can't really compare because they don't exist outside of Gilt. I have never seen myhabit pull that kind of stunt.

You get 5 stars!
FlightCar
7/16/13
I was impressed by the innovative concept and the staff is nice. We used flight car twice now.

1) The first time was apparently without incident and we were told the car was not rented.

2) The second time, we were again returned the car and told it was not rented. However, when we returned home, we found a receipt for 7-11 and potato chips in the car. My fiancé reported this and it turns out it was rented! We never received any notification and certainly did not receive our payment for them using our car. The management was very apologetic and offered our payment, but it is still very concerning that this happened and we would have never known had we not reported it.

And, now in retrospect, after our first time, I did find an old decomposing fried chicken wing stuffed in the side door pocket - weird since I don't remember eating chicken wings in the car in the past year and certainly would not have stuffed it there for future consumption. I am very suspicious that it could have been rented out before...

I think my fiancé still is willing to use their service, but I think I would rather just pay for a taxi.
